Here’s the House Budget Committee with another explanatory video, this one on corporate tax reform: 

As with the other videos in this series, the messaging is remarkably clear and simple. Corporate tax reform is not a complicated topic, but it is still susceptible to demagoguery and misinformation. 

It’s also worth noting that Ryan is no innocent when it comes to loopholes and the complexity of the code.

Corporate tax reform is especially not a complicated issue or subject to demagoguery when there are no corporate taxes to begin with. That is the only conservative position that does not evolve to the liberal one. Taxing wealth creation is democratically popular and fundamentally stupid. The role of a leader is not to compromise the difference, but to explain it.
