Last month, when a man removed the Israeli flag from its embassy in Cairo and then burned it, I feared that this would embolden Egyptians to storm the embassy and take hostages and that Egyptian authorities would do nothing to stop it. Well, I was right about the former but wrong about the latter.

Indeed, last night Egyptians did storm the Israeli embassy but Egyptian forces dispersed the crowds while the Israeli Air Force evacuated 80 diplomats. It also appears that the Egyptian government will reinstate the emergency laws which were lifted after Hosni Mubarak was driven from power.

Does this mean the Egyptian military will try to postpone the presidential elections which are scheduled to take place in October or November? I suspect that if they did all hell would break loose. Needless to say, this incident will only firm the resolve of the Muslim Brotherhood and other forces who wish to establish an Islamic fundamentalist state and end all diplomatic relations with Israel.

There is an answer that will stop all this. America did it in 1902-1913, and America and Israel should do it again.

"Damn, damn, damn the Moros!
Cut throat khaki ladrones!
Underneath the starry flag,
Civilize them with a Krag,
And return us to our beloved home."

What total nonsense as usual! Israel killed 5 Egyptian border gaurds. The people in the new democratic Egypt have had enough of israel, the USA and the tryants that, they have lived under for 40 years. If Israel wants friendly relations with it's neighbors it should stop acting like a thug and bully. It could of had peace with the Palistinians on the 1967 borders decades ago. The lunatics here who advocate mass muder just because the Rgyptian people are rightfully out raged is disgraceful. US embassies have beeen attacked many times all over the world. We never advocated war or mass murder as a response. Get used to the fact that Egypt will soon be a democracy and the results of elections won't be controlled by Washington and Tel Aviv.

Nobody was killed at the Embassy, unlike the Egyptian border guards. TheEgyptian police did their jobs and the Israeli diplomats are back in Israel where they belong. They should not come back until Israel is ready to act like good neighbor. I don't think that can happen until Netanyahu and Lieberman are gone from the government.

When Anwar Sadat was assassinated, this day began to inevitably come to pass; did it not? Isn't the ultimate answer to the question": who wins this interminable conflict": "Whoever first decides to drop 'the Big One.'"? Everything else seems just as hopeless as my answer. Divine intercession is the only alternative.

Occam's Tool| 9.10.11 @ 2:50PM

JC, can't disagree with you. Might I strongly recommend my friend Tom Kratman's book Caliphate? Genius on the order of America Alone.

The Jooz! The Jooz!
We Egyptians want the new regime to hear our demands!
We did not throw out Mubarek so that our leaders could protect the Jooz.
We tore down the week-old security fence because it was protecting the Jooz!
Peace and prosperity will be ours as soon as we kill all the Jooz!
Meet the new Arab Spring.
Same as the old Arab Spring.

It is just a small example of what kind of "Democracy" we can expect in the near east when we "encourage" so called democratic reform there after we help out the muslim "electorate" by doing our best to remove their authoritarian leaders who cruelly insist on keeping order in the countries they rule.

I believe Mr. Goldstein is in favor of this idealistic foreign policy as are many of the wise men who write these blogs here on AS. Maybe these guys should get together to give Hilary Clinton their advice and encouragement. Sort of show her how and where she and the state department have gone wrong.

Ron Paul and Ron Paul supporters: time to break out the champaign! Now, we will FINALLY see peace in the Middle East. Peace in our time. Hallelujah!

Clint | 9.10.11 @ 10:47PM

Israel Firsters continue to attempt to use Our Warriors, as Cannon Fodder,to attempt forcefeed democracy around the globe and police the world.

Dr.Ron Paul,
“Our military’s purpose is to defend our country, not to police the
Middle East.

“As the President prepares to send even more support to Egypt, we should
be reminded that it was our foreign aid that helped Mubarak retain power
to repress his people in the first place. Now we have to deal with the
consequences of those decisions, yet we keep repeating the same mistakes.

“I am not the only one who can see the absurdities of our foreign
policy. We give $3 billion to Israel and $12 billion to her enemies.
Most Americans know that makes no sense."

The Tea Party Rebellion Is Here.

Oldefarte| 9.11.11 @ 12:44PM

Did Ron Paul say the following also perhaps? :

'...."Each year, 9/11 reminds the Afghans of an event in which they had no role whatsoever," the Taliban said. "American colonialism has shed the blood of tens of thousands of miserable and innocent Afghans." .......'

Clint | 9.11.11 @ 2:53PM

Do Your Homework,RINO-CINO Fart.

"After the attacks on 9/11, Congressman Ron Paul introduced a bill in the Congress, which would have specified the scope for a mission to take down the terrorists responsible for the attacks on 9/11. First and foremost, the proposal was Constitutional and secondly, it was highly targeted and wouldn’t have resulted in thousands of Americans being killed senselessly. Had Congressman Ron Paul’s proposal for letters of Marque and Reprisal, HR 3076, been passed by the United States Congress in October of 2001, trillions of dollars and thousands of lives would not have been lost in the search for Osama bin Laden."

Jack in Wi.| 9.11.11 @ 3:53PM

Not one Afghan, Iraqi, or Iranian was involved was involved in 9/11. 15 of them came from one of our best allies in the region, Saudi Arabia. The rest from our allies Egypt and Jordan. It would seem to me, having allies like that encourages terrorism because we are over there. In fact they came over here because we were over there. All this nonsese spouted on this tread does nothing but confirm how right Pat Buchanan Ron Paul, Bob Novak, General Brent Skowcroft, General Norm Schwartzkoph, Jim Baker and other patriotic conservatives were when they opposed this policy of the Iraq war and nation building. Get the hell out of the Middle East and let them live their own lives and solve their own problems. It is what Ronald Reagan advised and he was right.

Afghanistan was and is graveyard of empires. The British, the Russians, and now the Americans are being driven out. How stupid are our leaders who don't understand history.

The Ron Paul Neo Lib| 9.12.11 @ 12:10AM

Next time we should thank the Afghans for helping get rid of eco-unfriendly buildings and some of our unsustainable population. I mean letting Al Qaeda set up shop was an act of kindness. We have way too many people for our return to the pre-Civil war southern agrarian society. Woe is us, there is nothing we can do except cheer lead those that will kill Jews. The Egyptians are really very nice folks and have really taken to democracy. Everyday and in every way things are getting better and better. If all the Jews were gone out of the Mideast things would be peaceful like they are in Indian and Nigeria and all other places Muslim. Well it is time for my Lithium, goodnight to all. Bad Jews er I mean neocons.

Well, considering that I just filled out my Tea Party Express Survey and contributed money to the Tea Party (which you, Clint, don't do by your own admission), I would say, Clint, that you are in need of plenty of buckets to store what Carl Sandburg stated Norman Mailer referred to as "shit."

You neither toil nor weave in the fields. The Tea Party express asked NO foreign policy questions in its survey. Nor did it list Ron paul as a "favorite." Myself, I voted for Michele Bachmann first and Rick Santorum second on my list of favorites, although when Perry wins, I will pull the lever for him, especially as I see it going Perry/Bachmann.

As Usual, You're A Serial Sociopathic Slandering Liar, Screwball Israel Firster Fanatic,Tool Job.

Real Tea Party Patriots, such as myself, contribute at our monthly meetings.
I've been to two different branch meetings, in the last two weeks. How many have you been to Sociopathic Liar ?

Hmmmmmm Liar ?

Who spoke at your meetings ?

Hmmmmmm ?

Apparently, You don't even know the difference between The Tea Party Patriots, which is the largest Tea Party Coalition & Tea Party Express.

A Ron Paul Guy was speaking at one meeting & The Heritage Foundation's Robert Moffitt spoke at our country club meeting.

The New Hampshire Tea Party Coalition & Texas Tea Party are exposing Ricky Perry, as the RINO-CINO he is & Santorum interfered on Arlen Specter's behalf,When we real conservatives backed Pat Toomey.

Obviously the Muslim Brotherhood has some '''''brothers''''' here in this country as well, considering the unnecessary comments of the typical Clintorous commentary above. No doubt the Paulistas would possibly storm the Israel embassies in every country, if possible. Nazi Germany and Adolph live on!!!!!!!

9/11, Sept. 11, Washington D.C.Ten years ago, as the country was taken by surprise and mass confusion was spread over the street — and pure panic, don't forget pure panic — no one was sure what to do. In the interval, we remember the stories of people whose reactions led to outcomes. We've never heard the story of one woman who was ready to put her life on the line.

With United Flight 93 was still unaccounted for and presumed headed toward D.C., Lt. Heather “Lucky” Penney of the D.C. Air National Guard was asked to accompany Col. Marc Sasseville on a mission to protect the city. Her plane, last used for a training mission, didn't have any missiles, didn't have any ammunition, and didn't have any time.

“We wouldn’t be shooting it down. We’d be ramming the aircraft,” Penney told the Post. “I would essentially be a kamikaze pilot.”

[Penney and Sasseville] screamed over the smoldering Pentagon, heading northwest at more than 400 mph, flying low and scanning the clear horizon. Her commander had time to think about the best place to hit the enemy.

'We don’t train to bring down airliners,' said Sasseville, now stationed at the Pentagon. 'If you just hit the engine, it could still glide and you could guide it to a target. My thought was the cockpit or the wing.'
Penney never had to surrender her life to protect D.C. She's now a mother of two girls."

By the way, Heather, you're also Pulchritudinous. Beauty, Brains, and Unparalleled Courage, All in One Chick!

Amazing: Cyprus and Israel are cooperating economically to produce/develop newly discovered gas fields off Israel's coast, while Turkey is insisting that Israel apologize for its defease of its naval blockade and threatening a disruption of this cooperative gas production effort. The Paulistas must have a large grin on their asinine faces over same!!!!!!!

Jack in Wi.| 9.11.11 @ 4:04PM

Israel was founded by and continues to be run by blood on hands terrorists. Ben Gurion, Begin, Sharon, Shamir, Barak, and Netanyahu were or are terrorists. I suggest for your reading pleasure that you google Israeli False flag operations you will get millions of hits. I also suggest you google Israeli terrorists and Jewish terrorists. Again you will get many hits. Also google, The five dancing Israeli's on September 11 2001. It will show how 5 Mossad agents were caught jumping for joy and taking pictures as the World Trade Center collapsed.. That whole story was broken by Fox News by the way. I only leave Gola Meir off the terrorist list because she an I attended the same university. I gave her a pass.

Occam's Tool| 9.11.11 @ 2:40PM

You know, Margie, The Moro War is interesting in that its author does NOT support the harsh measures shown to the Moros, and yet every word he writes justifies it, nonetheless.

Excellent blueprint for how to win the war against the scum. You might also want to pick up Caliphate by my buddy, Tom Kratman.

G-d Bless and Keep you and your husband on this solemn day, my dear Margie.

Margie| 9.11.11 @ 2:58PM

God bless you, O.T!
And thanks for the kind words (you are a kind man), and for the book recommendation.

The Bible is all about God's Righteous Judgments.. and His merciful Hand that is continually stretched out.
He has given Mankind His mercy for thousands of years, but there does come the final Judgment.
as long as His enemies are still breathing, there is hope, but once they are dead, so ends their time to repent.

"And just as it is appointed for men to die once, and after that comes Judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with Sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for Him." Heb. 9:27 & 28.

Margie| 9.11.11 @ 3:21PM

p.s. The book of Isaiah is filled with the Words: "His Hand is stretched out still".
I will never forget the first time I read that book as a new Christian at 19 or 20 yrs. of age. It really blew me away.

This book also contains the most beautiful prophecy about Jesus in chapter 53.

They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

But when we disarmed They sold us and delivered us bound to our foe,

And the Gods of the Copybook Headings said: "Stick to the Devil you know." "
