On immigration: Perry suggests Obama might be an "abject liar" on the security of the border, Romney says we need a "technologically approved" border monitoring system. A difference in style, to say the least.

On immigration, no one stands out particularly, although Cain does use the phrase "boots on the ground" to describe his border security plans, which he may want to review.

This portion of the debate was remarkable only for Bachmann's disappearance, Huntsman's failure to edge in with reasonable-sounding comments, and Ron Paul's worry that barbed-wire border fences could be used to keep Americans in as well as Mexicans out.

It certainly seems as though immigration will get more time than all of foreign policy put together.

I love bashing Ron Paul and his annoying and dick supporters, but out of all of them tonight, he was the only who could articulate conservatism. Santorium left me speechless when he defended DHS. Perry seems to have Bushism when it comes to talking. Other than Bachmann, Paul, at least on the domestic issues, got me agreeing with him all night long.
His supporters are still dicks, though.
