This morning’s BLS jobs report is
terrible
news: the economy produced zero new jobs last month.
The private sector actually added 17,000 jobs, but the loss of
17,000 government jobs wiped that tiny gain out.
Via David Indiviglio, here’s the chart showing job growth by the
private and public sectors over the past two years:

And from Calculated
Risk, here is the “recovery” relative to past
recoveries:

The important thing to remember is that the economy has to add
about 90,000-150,000 jobs per month simply to keep up with
population growth.

Mr. Lawler,
your graphs made my head wobble.... and I'm a very bright guy.
Good fulfilling job prospects suck with communists, (pardon the shorthand), running our lives.
It really is that simple.
Do you have any idea how many quality jobs could literally be created over night if modular nuke plants were being built on a crash basis?... a million jobs.
How about if we drill our fossil resources responsibly? TWO million jobs.
IE:
end of recession.
Would you writers get your heads out?

Cut Taxes, Remove Obamacare, Say nice things to investors and risk takers, Cut Spending, Kill Jihadists---that is all a President needs to do. He does that, he's doing much better than the last 4 Presidents.

I would have like to see that without the CES Birth-Death model left out with its phony statistical creations.

The Mainstream Republican Leadership should be out there developing a concrete jobs plan that includes cost cutting and growth. I believe this plan should focus mainly on SMALL BUSINESS because that is what the average voter is. As a consumer or an a potential employer. The goal; HIRE MORE PEOPLE. CREATE MORE JOBS.
