Obama Does It Again

President Obama has rescheduled his jobs speech before Congress so that it no longer conflicts with the Republican presidential candidates’ debate. But now it conflicts with the NFL season opener.

Obama can give the speech at halftime.

Al Adab| 9.1.11 @ 11:48AM

At least then he would have an audience.

W| 9.1.11 @ 12:50PM

And a 15 minute time limit

Nah! Why deny a perfectly good marching band the opportunity to strut their stuff? Besides, it's not like Hopeychange will have anything new to say or offer except excuses ...

I could care less about who wins between Green Bay and New Orleans (not my Teams), but I sure do care about who wins the ratings war between the NFL and President Obama's speech. Now what channel is that game on again?

As a Packer fan, I object. It was bad enough when he had to per-opt the Super Bowl with an idiotic interview by OReilly.

Ruth Bacon| 9.1.11 @ 12:13PM

Why worry about what his speech pre-opts? You can listen to at least parts of it over and over, and hear it discussed and analyzed ad nauseum by news reporters and analyists. Listening to more of his lies is a waste of time anyway.
Go to or listen to the ballgame!! - it, at least, may have something new and exciting.

Who's speaking?

Nothing is ever going to get better until this President finishes his last term (this term hopefully)...and we get a new one....

It's sad to see the Office of the Presidency drug to the lows that this man has taken it...

What a sad act this is....Times are serious...we need a plan...we need leadership...we need sanity...

AND STILL...we will get another Stupid Speech from the biggest flop of a president...AGAIN.

A speech...that will demonize Everything that is decent in America...

And refuses to do anything that might work...because he hates all of us so damn much...

And yes...think about it folks...HE HATES US....ALL OF US.

I believe that Rick Perry is the mad to beat him and make him go back to Chicago after 1 term...by the way.

Go PERRY

WL| 9.1.11 @ 2:15PM

"the MAN to beat him"....(as in the election) "mad" was a typo

Al Adab| 9.1.11 @ 2:31PM

He won't go back to Chicago. Think of the possibilities.

Bob Grant| 9.1.11 @ 2:52PM

I was hoping to watch the NFL game on Thursday to avoid thinking about Obama and his wreckage. Now he has to spoil that as well.

Obama, I cannot find the proper words to describe my antipathy toward you.

Al Adab| 9.1.11 @ 2:58PM

Bob:
The ones i come up with are Arabic and translate to Apricot pit. I'll explain the cultural implication elsewhere.

Robert| 9.1.11 @ 4:16PM

I voted for him, but he cannot simply stop bending over and taking it up the r--r. He is shameful, in such an important time, he is the weakest President I can remember.

Al Adab| 9.1.11 @ 4:32PM

Robert, You are forgiven but don't repeat the error. Nonetheless, he is not weak. In fact he has re-created (he promised to fundamentally transform America) this country into everything but a socialist dictatorship. The rule of law is being replaced with the cult of personality and the rule of one man. Congress could, but will not, stop him. Which leaves it to the votersd to reject this agenda and return this nation (if possible) to its roots. Don't forget 40% still think he is doing a good job.
