But hey, Obama — who actually, as of now at least, still plans on making another ‘green jobs’ run again in his speech Thursday — will make it up in volume.

Will the House audit where that loan guarantee money went? Did the dimwitted CEO that didn't expect this outcome keep all his pay during the period? Where are the cries for a clawback clause from Pelosi, Frank and crowd? Waxman thinks this is fishing? What was it when he asked insurance companies to send him reams of compensation and policy information simply to try to embarrass them for their pay? Wasn't that fishing too? Strange but when the shoe is on the other foot it sure seems to get a lot tighter. If Obama really still comes out with requests for more spending on projects such as this he should be examined by the White House doctor to make sure he is not mentally incapacitated. If this is all his brilliant Ivy league advisors can come up with they really need to be fired and soon.

I don't see what the problem is.
It appears that everyone is expecting these boondoggles to operate as normal businesses do.
This subsidy wasn't designed to create jobs...or to keep jobs....or to produce anything useful.
"Green Jobs" is a political agenda and, by virtue of its very existence, however ephemeral, it will be regarded as a success by the Left.
Whether or not the company actually makes a profit was immaterial.

That damn free market, with all those free people politely passing up the solar collector array salesman's pitch. Well, if we are too stupid not to carry health insurance then we are definitely not bright enough to go green. Wait for the SCOTUS ruling on ObamaCare. If it is upheld, expect a mandate to put those panels on your roof. We have a precedent now.

The Republicans need to play this up big time. A half billion dollars spend on yet another liberal fantasy. This is a campaign issue which could rival Willie Horton or the Swift Boat Men.

I keep saying, we need more SOBs on our team! As much as I politically disagreed w/ Rudy Giulani in 2008, I admired his ability/willingness to give as much as he got.
I'd love to have seen him in a presidential press conference slapping the daylights out of the likes of Helen Thomas, David Gregory and all the other WH press corpse (sp. ; D ).
