Today, seven Israelis were killed in a series of terrorist attacks by Palestinian gunmen who crossed into Israel from Egypt's Sinai Peninsula and attacked a bus and other motor vehicles. As of this writing, no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks.

Back in February, I wrote about why Israel worries about a post-Mubarak Egypt. Despite their official denials, the fact that this terrorist attack against Israeli civilians originated in Egypt appears to be a harbinger of things to come.

I think that Israel is about to have to defend itself again.

Like in the 6 day war, it will need to destroy the fighting ability of its enemies.

The sates surrounding her have forgotten the lessons they were taught in the earlier wars of aggression that they waged.

Given the low ebb of their relations with our current administration maybe this time they would feel less constrained by DC and more fully complete their victory.

"The sates surrounding her have forgotten the lessons they were taught in the earlier wars of aggression that they waged."

This time however, and rightfully so, they believe Obama is on THERE side and not the side of Israel.

You don't know the half of it, my friend.
Go to HAMAS' official Web Site. Once there, you can purchase a nice Drinking Mug, with Obama's face on it. Only, they don't call him Obama. They call him ABU HUSSAIN, and he is pictured wearing an ARAB hat, and the Traditional Muslim Dishrag.
HAMAS believes that Obama has been sent by their God, to DELIVER them. Obama is their CHOSEN ONE. Their MOSES.
He's the ONE they've been waiting for.
Now, if you're life is centered around the DESTRUCTION OF ISRAEL, when do you ATTACK? Now, while your MESSIAH sits on the Throne of Israel's ONLY ALLY?
Or, do you wait, and take the chance that he will be Re-elected?

What a surprise!

Well, as soon as the Sunni's take over Syria from the Alawi's Mr. Goldstein, everything should be peaceful. I'm sure the Muslim Brotherhood will cooperate in getting peace in the mid-east in our time and show those nasty old Egyptians a thing or two!

Then how does this author know it was a Palestinian attack?

mzk1| 8.19.11 @ 5:39AM

I guess that's called intelligence (I mean as in MI). At least some of them were wearing suicide vests.

They need to box Iran's ears. Actually, it's a bit late; it should have been done several years ago.

Nobody here is mentioning that israel killed 5 Egyptian Soldiers on the borders... israel government is just exporting its failure to others

Shades| 8.19.11 @ 8:45PM

Israel goverment is lying to it’s own people, conspiring against the protests, giving enough reasons for people cricizing the protetors asking for their rights.. Terrorists, threats, war, and army expenses sre most of propaganda… Wake Up and know who is using you for more power, wealth, and domination...
