The Spectacle Blog
My column this week at CFIF tracks a theme I've developed right here at The American Spectator, and in public fora as well: The Obama/Holder Justice Department, and indeed the administration as a whole, is virtually lawless. My opening paragraph this week gives you a taste:
On subjects ranging from Black Panthers to black gold, the Obama administration is having a very bad time in courts these days, and rightly so. Again and again the Obamites try to abuse their authority without regard to constitutional or statutory limits. Fortunately, judges shot down Obamite overreach in three important cases within days of each other last week, and more administration setbacks are likely. In the United States, even sophists and ideologues are subject to the rule of law.
This line also gets to the heart of the matter: "This is an administration that tries to rule by edict, without bothering with the ordinary procedures and protections of a constitutional republic."
Of course, this doesn't even count the growing scandal over the Fast/Furious gunrunner scandal now engulfing DoJ. Overall, this theme has legs. It should be pursued.

All of these defeats do not seem to be slowing the Obamaniacs down. When Salazar was slapped by a judge for the permitorium he simply slowed down the permit pace. Again this was just recently slapped down but I doubt it will stop them... They will find another way to stop drilling. Crazy because the Obamaniacs really need to bring down the unemployment rolls or see their agenda decimated in 2012! lawlessness indeed.

Here's the problem. We have an Opposition Party that wants to be FAIR, and Understanding, and walk around with White Gloves on, like they were in The House of Lords.
On the other hand, we have a Democrat Party, who will do ANYTHING - Cheat, Lie, Steal, to get their way. They are led by a FAR LEFT RADICAL who has NO PROBLEM having TERRORISTS, for friends. NO PROBLEM with ACORN. NO PROBLEM with The BLACL PANTHERS.
He gets away with what he gets away with, because there is NO-ONE to stop him.
I don't remember who it was, (one of our former Presidents) Jackson, maybe? But, the Courts had ruled AGAINST HIM on something he was doing, and his response was to KEEP ON DOING, what they had demanded he stop.
His words were something like: "Yeah. Okay. They've made their ruling. Now, let's see them ENFORCE it."
You can say what you want, about this Marxist. MFR, POS, in the White House, but he's not lacking, for a pair of BALLS.
Stay on this Fast and Furious GUN RUNNING Scheme. Drop everything else. Nothing is as important than this case.
Think of it as the Income Tax charges, that put CAPONE in the slammer.
This has IMPEACHMENT written all over it.

A communist regime has following characteristics:
1) It has a secretary General; here we have Mullah Obama;
2) It has an Agit-Prop agency; this role is filed here by the MSM (Times, Post, ABC,NBC,CBS, MSNBC, CNN, NPR...);
3) It has various departments of the government directed by chosen komissars; here we have 35 WH czars;
etc., etc.

Barack Hussein Obama, PC Trojan Horse, was put into office because he was black. As a black, he was expected to SHIELD Marxist/Socialist fundamental transformation ( destroy from within) of America. Race and Class Warfare have always been PC Socialists weapons of choice. They thought and led him to believe he could do anything and get away with it because he was black. All his preparation for the office of president was gained in that cesspool known as Chicago Politics - Mafia styled persuasion. With George Soros, corrupt Congress and embedded Political Correctness as his handlers, he felt he could break the law with impunity. He, nor they really know American History. Americans are good, compassionate people. But, when aroused, they are formidable warriors. They are aroused, armed with knowledge - some recent- of their inalienable rights enshrined in the Constitution's Bill of Rights. Warriors from the 50 United States of America formed themselves into a TEA PARTY and vowed to TAKE BACK AMERICA! Marxists/Socialists who depend upon stealth, infiltration, usurpation and final domination was not prepared for the spotlight -prematurely- to be shone on their actors and activities (Glenn Beck). However, as the saying goes, " best laid plans of mice and men often go astray." Exposure caused the fundamental transformers to scatter like cock roaches in sudden light. With an aroused, relentless TAKE BACK AMERICA, TEA PARTY, Obama and his handlers have experienced a failure that can only be described as spectacular! And, tjis is just the beginning. Keep the faith and the conversation going.

Rule of law disappeared in 1865 at Appomattox. Lincoln got away with an illegal war and was apotheosized for it. The rest has been down hill. It is surprising that moderns refuse to understand this.

Quartermaster, how would you characterize the State of South Carolina firing on FEDERAL property. Property which the state had ceded to the Federal government. What's funny, is had the South used the correct Constitutional method for a change to the Union - Constitutional Amendment - they probably could have gone in peace, since the rest of the Union was heartily sick of the South using the Federal government to dominate the union. But I guess being a slave master tends to breed arrogance.

Lincoln fired not a shot until the South officially, intentionally, and symbolically fired on Federal troops. The both sides went home and raised armies. The war was requested by the South, and we gave it to them.
