Via Drew Cline, I see the full video of Romney’s remarks from Iowa which birthed the much-derided soundbite on corporate personhood. As someone who spent quite a lot of time at Romney events during the 2008 cycle but hasn’t paid the man much attention this go around, I have to say the difference between then and now is fairly striking. This is probably the most fiery and engaged I’ve ever seen Mitt. He should be bringing this show to Iowa more often, honestly.

Oh, and in context that corporations bit isn’t much of a faux pas, but that’s not going to save the American electorate from having it endlessly blared back at us for the next year and a half.

This is the best that I have seen Romney. He knows economics and business, and can speak in coherent sentences, unlike Obama and Biden. Romney-Bachman is the winning ticket.

I could not agree more. Romney talks the talk, and some may believe he walks the walk. But he is dragging an hundred-ton anchor called Romneycare that he not only hasn't jettisoned -- he's still defending it. If the RINOs in the GOP nominate this guy, he MAY win -- though I have my doubts. What is, to my mind, just as likely is that he'll be a free fire zone for the left/lib artillery. Add that storm to the doubts many in the conservative base already have about him, and I would put my money on four more years of the Termite-in-Chief.

Good luck with that!

I think the hecklers were Obama plants. They'll be following and heckling him throughout the campaign or until someone else becomes the perceived front-runner.

It's happened before, of course, but we're going to be treated to previously un-heard-of levels of nastiness, trickery and fraud during this election cycle.
The lefties almost have it all in their grasp! They can taste the "final solution" in the air. They're going to stop at NOTHING to win this election for Obama. Mark my words.
They are going to re-set the bar for election cycle ugliness.

Bachmann in the Pole position, not Mitt.

I've always been lukewarm at best on Romney but I like what he showed in this video.

It looked like a set up or maybe it was just a stupid person.

Either way the answer wasn't bad but Candidate Romney could have gone further and stated that the system is a Ponzi scheme and that Medicare gives you less for your money not more and has actually led to a retarded health care system where the government, not doctors, lead the way.

I'm not a Romney supporter but he is correct. Corporations are made up of shareholders who are people. Maybe that is the problem. Democrats don't understand business or the composition of a business entity.
