So far Jon Huntsman is the only Republican presidential candidate to say unambiguously nice things about the pending bipartisan agreement on the debt ceiling. Newt Gingrich stopped short of opposing it outright, but said only negative things and argued it would not lift the country out of the "Obama depression." Mitt Romney and Tim Pawlenty joined Ron Paul and Michele Bachmann in opposing it. Conservative dream non-candidates Paul Ryan and Marco Rubio split, with Ryan fer it and Rubi again' it.

All the "agreement" potentially does is put Congress on the record supporting spending cuts. The proposed cuts are too far in the future to ever be realized. What the proposal may do is buy enough time that the next Congress and administration can enact actual, immediate, and DEEP cuts in the federal budget. A trillion over ten years is as nothing. A trillion per year is not enough to bring this monster into balance.

To quote Oliver Cromwell, Mr. President and Congress, "you have sat too long for any good you have been doing. In the name of God, go."

Which candidate will commit to actual, signifcantand itemized cuts in federal spending? That is who we should support.

Amen, and furthermore, which POLITICAL PARTY has shown commitment to the conservative wishes of most of us here. The tea party deserves a tremendous amount of thanks and respect for the valiant efforts of their patriotic membership. They are simply GREAT FOLKS and deserve a big pat of the back; and we must all continue to become individually informed from conservative news sites such as this etc, to participate as much as possible and to VOTE FOR CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICANS [there hasn't been any comparable conservatives with the Democratic Party for maybe a decade, so supporting them is pure fools gold, ie Hole & Change]!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Amen, you 2.!

Bluto:
What? Over? Did you say "over"? Nothing is over until we decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? Hell no!

The Tea Party Rebellion Is Here & Now.

Stand & Fight.
