Rep. Jeff Miller (R-FL), chairman of the House Committee on
Veterans’ Affairs, released a statement supporting the Boehner plan
and arguing against tying up veterans’ benefits due to the debt
ceiling debate.
“Taking care of America’s veterans has been, and always will be,
one of this country’s highest priorities,” Miller said. “Many
questions have been raised recently regarding the debt crisis and
what will happen to America’s veterans come August 2. As of today,
the Administration has yet to provide clarity to these men and
women.”

No clarity to Vets and no clarity to the old folks.
In truth these funds must be paid by Law but...Obama has chosen to use this as a threat, to get their way, so they can keep spending us to
OBLIVIAN !
He got Tim Gietner and yesterday Chuck Schumer to repeat the LIE...The immoral IDIOTS think this will fly and people will believe them.
The damage they have done to themselves is evident. When this is all over.... the deliberate threats to vulnerable people will be long remembered. They really have no decency to attempt this and like all lies will be found out and punished at the Polls!

Obama has NEVER taken care of the troops even though he is CIC and that is one of his main duties as President! Defend and protect and all he does is deny and spend! Any President who doesn't know how to pronounce corpsman should be impeached for dereliction of duty!

All Obama is doing is setting up a crises so that he can invoke his version of the 14th Amendment and then raise the ceiling (or just eliminate it all together). Then congress will be neutered.
And what are the GOP leaders going to do about it?
