Dr. Ron Paul:
"Have you ever read about the reasons they attacked us? They attack us because we've been over there. We've been bombing Iraq for 10 years. We've been in the Middle East. I think Reagan was right. We don't understand the irrationality of Middle Eastern politics, so, right now we're building an embassy in Iraq that's bigger than the Vatican. We're building 14 permanent bases. What would we say here if China was doing this in our country or in the Gulf of Mexico? We would be objecting. We need to look at what we do, from the perspective, of what would happen if somebody did it to us."
"I'm suggesting that we listen to the people who attacked us, and the reason they did it and they are delighted that we're over there, because Osama bin Laden has said "I am glad you're over on our sand, because we can target you so much easier." They have already now since that time have killed 34 hundred of our men, and I don't think it was necessary."
Margie| 7.27.11 @ 4:26PM
Exactly why Your cult leader can never win the nomination for the Presidency of the United States.
It's also displays the full and complete lunacy of those who like you, are in agreement with the likes of this dufus, Al Franken, and the rest of the Left.
Occam's Tool| 7.27.11 @ 4:59PM
So, the reason the Moslems rape Norweigian women is because the Norweigians support Israel and provide aid to Israel?
302 Neurons, C(lint) Elegans. I will laugh and laugh at your self-fertilizing crap when Paul gets his ass kicked in the primaries.
Margie| 7.27.11 @ 5:07PM
Heh, and how about the Ron Paul/Barney Frank letter about slashing the Defense budget?
Birds of a feather.
Now folks~
If this does not convince you that Clint/Tim*'s mindset is NOT the mindset of the TEA party, nor is Ron Paul on our side~ I do not know what will.
There's REASON he excoriates me and Occam (and most everybody else).
He is out of his mind.
LC Jack | 7.27.11 @ 8:01PM
The old canard about what you are is a reflection of the friend you keep applies here.
Anyone who votes in lockstep with KooKoo Kucinich must by definition, be a loony as he is.
Margie| 7.27.11 @ 10:42PM
Yep. And they are "cousins" to Left in more than one way.
They're for the legalization of drugs, among other things, anti-war, anti-Israel, terrorist sympathizers, and truly, truly haters of regular all American conservatives.
Just like the Left~ they use vile character assassination to squelch our voices because to them, the end justifies the means.
The true TEA party is made up of ALL conservatives who want to see the Republican party elites replaced with real conservatives who are not ONLY fiscally responsible, but morally responsible as well.
True conservatives love America, and don't go around saying we're "The Aggressor". or that "they're terrorists because we are over there!" like the Paul-bots do.
We are proud to say that the U.S.A. is the best country on the face of the earth, and are for a strong military defense. We're not into demolishing it like Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich and their Leftist ilk.
God bless.
Occam's Tool| 7.27.11 @ 5:08PM
Margie, you are as usual, correct. Paul votes in lockstep with Kucinich on foreign policy. THOMAS does not lie.
Incoidentally, a huge amount of Islamic terrorism is Blue on Blue, although NOT accidental. Let's look at yesterday's bodycount, from Religion of Peace:
2011.07.26 (Yala, Thailand) - Muslim 'insurgents' shoot a civilian to death in front of his 6-year-old daughter.
Slow newsday. Only 1 dead guy and 1 kid scarred for life. And it happened in Thailand, a known pro-Israel state. This stuff happens every day, usually worse. For example, in June 2011 IN TOTO for the R o P:
Jihad Attacks: 184
Countries: 18
Religions: 5
Dead Bodies: 930
Critically Injured: 1527.
Kinda dwarfs Norway, although each Norwegian death is equivalent to each Muslim/Hindu/Hebrew death by Muslims, as CLINT would say.

Harris Poll: If Ron Paul Won GOP Nomination, He Would Split Vote With Obama
TUESDAY, JULY26, 2012.
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.), an official candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, has performed well in several polls throughout his campaign. In may, Paul took second place in a CNN/WMUR poll of likely Republican voters. In June, Paul won a Republican Leadership Conference straw poll. At the beginning of July, Paul came in first in a Texas GOP poll, conducted by the Azimuth Research Group.
Perhaps the best indication of Paul’s candidacy so far is a Harris poll released today by Harris Interactive. According to the Harris poll, Obama and Paul would split the vote right down the middle if they were to run against each other in 2012.
LC Jack | 7.27.11 @ 8:05PM
OH PLEASE !! Paul perenially does well in polling. His PaulBots are well versed in gaming the polling data and very, very proficient at tweaking any type of data gleaned electronically. His acolytes pack CPAC year after year and SURPRISE, SURIPRISE (thanks to Gomer Pyle) he always comes out well ahead of the others. Hmmmm.....coinky-dink or not ?
Margie| 7.27.11 @ 10:43PM
You got that right.
Clint| 7.28.11 @ 6:32AM
Obama 41%, Ron Paul 37%
FRIDAY, JULY 22, 2011
Congressman Ron Paul may be a long shot to win the Republican presidential nomination, but he runs competitively with President Obama right now.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely Voters shows Paul picking up 37% of the vote, while the president earns 41%.
Only The RINO-CINO Fop Mittens Romney Is Closer to Obama.
RWinks| 7.28.11 @ 10:37AM
A junkyard dog would be competitive with BO.
Lars| 7.27.11 @ 7:32PM
Michael Scheuer, who was the head analyst at the CIA’s bin Laden unit, Alec Station, and authored the books Through Our Enemies Eyes and Imperial Hubris, said “I thought Mr. Paul captured it the other night exactly correctly. This war is dangerous to America because it’s based, not on gender equality, as Mr. Giuliani suggested, or any other kind of freedom, but simply because of what we do in the Islamic World because ‘we’re over there,’ basically, as Mr. Paul said in the debate.”
Scheuer also agreed with Dr. Paul’s statement in the debate that the war in Iraq was a diversion from capturing or killing Osama bin Laden and that bin Laden was “delighted” that the U.S. is occupying Iraq as it has become a training ground and recruiting tool for new jihadists joining the movement.

Why are Republicans always portrayed as scare mongers when it appears Dems have a recent habit of doing it so often? Obama to Stu Smalley. It appears to be their fallback position now rather than debating the facts or offering solutions.

Support for Ron Paul Runs High Among Members of the Military
THURSDAY, JULY21, 2011
Rep. Ron Paul (R-Tex.), an official candidate for the Republican presidential nomination, is extremely popular with members of the U.S. military. On July 19th, Paul held his “Ready for Ames” Money Bomb Radio Marathon, raising more than $550,000 from supporters to expand the Texas Congressman’s “first-class campaign in Iowa.” It’s likely that more than a few of the contributors to Paul’s “Ready for Ames” money bomb were men and women in uniform.
In fact, Paul’s popularity is so high among U.S. service members that the Texas Congressman’s presidential campaign has received more money from U.S. soldiers than any other candidate in the 2012 presidential race.

Ha, ha Margie.
Got Ya.
It was my post.
Sorry didn't mean to upset you.
Lullabys, Legends and Lies| 7.27.11 @ 5:13PM
Sometimes I think California's the most retarded State in the Union (Sorry to all the Retarded People reading this, for using retarded, what can I say, I'm insensitive!!), but then I think of my home State of New York, and how out of control it is, and I'm "sure" that New York State is the most retarded of all "57" States.
"BUT", then I see Al (I'm supposed to have been a Comedian, even though I've never been able to make anybody laugh in my entire life) Franken, and I start wondering to myself, Minnesota has to be the most retarded State in the Union. And referring to Republicans as Terrorists, on the floor of the Senate, for not supporting his Party's Tax and Spend ways, or not laughing at his unfunny jokes, is a complete disgrace for a U.S. Senator!!
Congratulations Minnesota, You're Number-#1 at something!!
What were you thinking?
RJ| 7.27.11 @ 8:05PM
As a Californian, I cannot challenge your statement that California is the most retarded state in the Union. While Minnesota has Stewart Smalley, we can counter with Babs Boxer, plus we have tremendous bench-strength in non-serious elected officials which I doubt any state can match.
My complaint is that these unqualified light-weights are in positions of responsibility. What have we come to when a condescending, petulant empty-suit is elected president? I would never have imagined that the likes of Obama, Franken & Boxer, among many others, could rise to the level of national office. Of course, we have and will continue to pay a very heavy price for electing fools into office.
LC Jack | 7.27.11 @ 8:09PM
What were you thinking?
Prolly the same things as when they voted Ventura in as Govenor.
Noma| 7.28.11 @ 6:53AM
Happiest day of my life is when I moved from Minnesota.
Hank in Minn.| 7.28.11 @ 9:32AM
To the other 56 states, we offer an official "We are sorry", and extremely embarassed...
I ask everyone I talk to if they had voted for AF.
So far, no one has said yes...Therefore, by deduction I have decided that all those ballots that were "found" in the trunks of election officials were the direct result of the truckloads of cash (can you say-- George Soros?-- that came up out of Chicage)....that got this Bozo elected.
Again, we (in Minnesota) are sorry, but look back....to Jesse V, and then forward to now... Mark D...can you really expect anything more out of the land of the Loons?
MarkJ| 7.27.11 @ 8:21PM
Al Franken can't revenge himself on all those bigger kids who beat him up, called him "Four-Eyes," and stole his lunch money when he was in grade school...so he makes the rest of us suffer instead.
LC Jack | 7.27.11 @ 8:36PM
They prolly committed the gravest assaults on him with noogies and wedgies too !!
Richard Baker| 7.27.11 @ 9:34PM
I guess Franken puts the lie to Democrat thoughtfulness, eh? What a moron he is and that does a disservice to morons.
air max 95 | 7.28.11 @ 5:32AM
wow,crazy!
Karl Magnus | 7.28.11 @ 7:17AM
Oh the irony.
The Senate holds itself up as the national paragon of virtues, comity, and seriousness. Those pretentious dinosaurs must be appalled at Al Franken's behavior, right? We'll see if they uphold their OWN standards and censure the failed comedian from MinnySOta.
I won't hold my breath.
How many times will we hear from Dems:
"Look, he's a comedian ... hahahaha".

Noted above a reference to Ventura. Another clown who thinks his loud voice gives him some sort of magical insight instead of the tedious wrestler mouthings they are.
