Both the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and the Los Angeles
Dodgers will honor Ronald Reagan to comemorate his centennial year
prior to their games on July 4th.
Fans at Dodger Stadium will see a videotaped tribute to Reagan
narrated by - who else? - Dodgers'
broadcaster Vin Scully. After the game, Dodgers fans will be
treated to a bag of jelly beans.
Sweet.
After leaving the White House, Reagan spent an inning in the
broadcast booth with Scully during the 1989 All-Star Game in
Anaheim. Reagan and Scully called Bo Jackson's mammoth homerun off
Rick Reuschel in the first inning en route to a 5-3 win for the
American League.
