Re the former Alabama governor: Details in internal links here. A solid recovery is expected; let us pray that it be quick and as painless as possible. This is a fine man, who could have made a good president, and perhaps still could make a superb Secretary of Commerce or somesuch. For now, let us hope he makes a good patient, and we also offer prayers for his family as they worry about him despite a favorable prognosis.

Bob Riley is a good man and was a superb governor of my state, BUT he's too damned old to be acting Brandoish in THE WILD ONE. Hopefully, his Evil Kenevil days are now behind him. That said, GET WELL & HAVE A SPEEDY RECOVERY, BOB; and our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!!!!!!!

Accidents suck, but it is one of the risks associated with the pleasure of a bike. I wish him a speedy recvoery!
