Becki Steinberg's puff piece on the documentary film Better This World is disgraceful.

In The Hill newspaper, she throws a spotlight on a piece of taxpayer-funded leftist agitprop that at best gives a pass to two anarchists who plotted to napalm Republicans at the 2008 GOP convention and at worst glamorizes their crimes.

Steinberg can't even bring herself to challenge co-director Katie Galloway when she refers to the convicted plotters David McKay and Bradley Crowder as "so-called" terrorists.

That's so lame.

In a series of exclusive interviews appearing in my new book Subversion Inc.: How Obama's ACORN Red Shirts are Still Terrorizing and Ripping Off American Taxpayers, FBI informant Brandon Darby explains how he undermined McKay and Crowder's plan to kill delegates at the Republican national convention in Minnesota.

Thanks to the information Darby provided to authorities, police raided a residence and found gas masks, slingshots, helmets, knee pads and eight Molotov cocktails consisting of bottles filled with gasoline with attached wicks made from tampons. "They mixed gasoline with oil so it would stick to clothing and skin and burn longer," Darby said.

McKay and Crowder also made riot shields and were ready to use them at the convention. Their goal was to prevent delegates from participating in the convention by blocking streets around it.

Not that any of this matters to The Hill.

The key phrase in this article is "Darby said". Did you even watch the movie. The complete lack of reference to any of its content suggests you have not.

Ah, the terrorist-loving "RNC '08 Report." Welcome to the AmSpec blog.

Brandon Darby is an American hero.

The court that dealt with the terrorists completely exonerated him -- and added extra time to the sentence of the criminal who lied about Darby egging them on.

It's all in my book Subversion Inc., which you clearly have not read.

Dale Crowder | 7.13.11 @ 9:10PM

How could you have written a factual book without facts? Maybe the title should have been Diversion. I am Brad's dad and have totally opposite political views, but have always respected his convictions in his beliefs. He made mistakes but never placed the blame on anyone but himself. Though I didn't condone his actions, I was proud of the way he handled it. Matthew, if you haven't seen the movie please watch if before passing judgement. I use to think like you.
