Canada has once again barred would-be mass murderer Bill Ayers from entering the Great White North.

Ayers was trying to visit Canada to speak at a conference co-sponsored by the notorious Ontario Institute for Studies in Education (OISE). OISE is well known for its embrace of radical left-wing politics and anti-Americanism.

It seems like just yesterday the Obama campaign was lying and dissembling in a desperate bid to distance candidate Obama from his longtime close personal friend Ayers. Ah, memories.

In the U.S. media’s ongoing whitewash of Obama’s radical ties, it was not reported that Ayers and his Weather Underground comrades had planned to slaughter conservatives if the revolution they sought came to pass.

As I write in my new book, Subversion Inc.: How Obama’s ACORN Red Shirts are Still Terrorizing and Ripping Off American Taxpayers, Ayers’s group had diabolical plans.

According to Larry Grathwohl, a Vietnam War veteran who infiltrated the Weather Underground, the terrorists also came up with a plan to murder millions of Americans when the communist revolution the group pressed for came to pass. Their plan was to slaughter the one-tenth of the U.S. population they expected would turn out to be “diehard capitalists” incapable of reeducation.

Grathwohl says this wasn’t idle talk. The Weather Underground leadership was filled with intelligent, highly educated people who knew exactly what they were doing. It’s a real shame the charges against Ayers years later were dropped on piddling legal technicalities.

Ayers is also a longtime supporter of the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now (ACORN), which uses violence and intimidation against corporations and governments to spread its version of “social justice.” Obama worked for ACORN and represented it in court as its lawyer. Together Obama and Ayers directed funding to ACORN when they served together on the boards of large charitable foundations.

Willie Ayers, 'known as one of America's best writers...', an 'educator' par excellence, an intellectual's intellectual, and other leftist myths.

The guy is a bonehead, and it's proven over and over by any of his video clips.

I believe Ayers comments on his trial were "guilty a s sin; free as a bird."

Occam's Tool| 6.20.11 @ 12:43PM

Sorry, "Ayer's."

What a vicious scumtard. Not surprisingly, his views on foreign policy issues are very close to Dennis Kucinich. And Kucinich and Paul vote in lockstep. Have you ever noticed that the only quote on Paul being strong on defense that his defenders can come up with are over 30 years old, and relate to the Soviets?

Well, at least Canada has more sense than the University of Illinois. The U of I hired Ayres as a tenured professor. What kind of moral depravity condones having a terrorist teaching young, impressionable kids?

Why do you think the far Left has dropped its fantasy of the mass murder of conservatives?
Have you read the comments section of “Barking Mad” Krugman's columns in the New York Times.

There is a vast segment of the far Left that believes the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy is behind the Left troubles.
The far Left firmly believes that the removal of the Conservatives is what is needed to achieve Liberal Paradise.

During the Vietnam War days Canada welcomed draft dodgers and deserters with open arms. I wonder why the change?

Canada's growing up, and we're reverting to children!! Just look at their last election, the Conservatives won, and they're moving away from Socialism, meanwhile here, were moving in the opposite direction.

They are having more trouble with their sharia advocates than we are here, Chuck.

Ahhh, Liberals: I remember taking a class on the first 12 Roman emperors from a Liberal Prof. It was hilarious. He would tell us how overblown complaints against Caligula were by day (As a professional historian, he was quite good, and I did get an 'A.'), and then protest against Reagan in the most vociferously Leftist way by night. Hilarious.

Every disgrunteled radical group that has ever been had a few, maybe a core of psyhcos that want to kill off the people they feel are getting in the way of utopia. Nothing new here.

Communists killed about a hundred million people last century. Ayers was following the typical techniques of his philosophy. He and his wretched wife belong in jail. That may not be new but the American communists have never paid the price for their evil philosophy. When they are viewed like Nazis or like the KKK we will stop bringing it up.

Don't be mean to Bill Ayers. Instead butter him up. We need him to admit that he actually wrote Obama's memoir. (Which he almost certainly did.)

I wish 10% of the American population "were die-hard capitalists." I fear the number is shrinking.

Frank| 6.20.11 @ 11:49PM

I say good for Canada.

Young people today are advised not to put racy stuff on their Facebook websites -- it may be seen by some human resources manager.

What we have working here is the institutional memory, maybe aided a bit by the internet. It is good to see that Canada remembers Ayers' history lo, these many years. If indeed that was the reason they did not want him up there. He should be in jail, like someone else said previously.

Rewriting history is probably as common with ultra-right wing publications as it is with Pravda--although these kind of conservatives are always claiming liberals to be disciples of Marxism. Case in point, the Weather Underground were not the senseless murderers, as depicted by the right-wing, extremist press.

In fact, the Weather People made a concerted effort to notify officials to evacuate targeted buildings–their bombing were intended to destroy property, not people. This was a decision made after one wing of the group, planning a bombing at the NCO club, accidentally blew themselves up–this occurrence (like many learning experiences in life, including life and death in war) brought them into direct confrontation with the results of death, which changed their strategy.

With the help of publicity hounds like Larry Grathwohl–whose statements about the Weather group are completely undocumented–the ultra-conservative right-wing continues to rewrite history themselves, and, unfortunately, the youth on the right believe it, because they don’t know any different.

The Weather Movement was an element of their times. They sought to bring about change in the political and economic system through violence. Though possibly misguided, they did the same thing the many right-wing extremists suggest doing with their display of weaponry and radical talk–like talk of ‘using their Second Amendment rights’ to make changes in government, when voting doesn’t work, according to their preferences.

Until the right-wing extremists stop concentrating these sort of slanders of history, and start thinking and talking and doing things that are really important–instead of issues of entertainment value, like this one–then they’re going to accomplish nothing enduring, only rabble-rousing.
