The Obama '12 campaign is sending Robert Gibbs to defend his old boss in the local media after tonight's Republican debate -- which, by the way, should have included Gary Johnson

I'm not going to sit here and over-romanticize my home state, but, lord...Will smarmy and condescending sell in the areas Obama already has locked down? Yep. Definitely. My guess is it will be considerably less appealing elsewhere -- you know, the small towns and cities where it is going to take more than a lecture and a smirk to convince voters that their trust last time around was not misplaced.

Guess Team Obama must be counting on that Get Out of Healthcare Free card to carry the Granite State...
