A few weeks ago I told a fellow conservative about a book from Irving Wallace called the R Document. Here is a snippet from Amazon.com:

"As crime and violence threaten to engulf America, the President proposes a daring new amendment to the Constitution, allowing the Bill of Rights to be suspended during times of national emergency.

To its supporters the 35th Amendment is the only way to keep America from sliding into chaos. Its opponents see the Amendment as an outright attack on freedom.

Christopher Collins, the newly-appointed Attorney General, has reservations about the Amendment, but feels confident that it would not be abused in the way its more hysterical opponents fear. Then a deathbed confession from his predecessor warns him to beware of something called "The R Document"."

There is an almost frightening parallel between that book (which I read decades ago) and what I am seeing with Obama and Holder. Paranoid? Maybe, but you would be too if you watched in disbelief as an idiot became President with full support by a corrupt media.

It's only a hiring scandal if you believe in justice. The people running out country are anti-American scum and that's one of their good points.

I had perused the idea that the present administrations policies which seem to be pointing the country into discontent and civil unrest were sort of a plan to utilize expanded executive powers or police or martial actions, but considered that thinking just a conspiracy minded thought, as well as just some 'what if' thinking. Unfortunately, I am not the only one who has arrived at those musings from time to time. I hear it come up now and again and I am starting to keep my ear to the ground and paying closer attention.

Hey Quin,
Here in Texas we don't have "civil unrest".

We have cival "kiss my arse". Santa Anna kissed our arse last time.

So, where's the OUTRAGE? Where are the Republicans? Why wasn't this POS blocked from Confirmation?
I am SICK and TIRED of the Orin Hatches, and the Dick Lugars, and that other OLD FOOL, in Tennessee, who want to pretend that we're "All Good People", and that the Democrats "Want what's best for the Country, just like we do", and "The President deserves to get the people he wants". Go tell that to MIGUEL ESTRADA, or any of the other BUSH NOMINATIONS that were FILABUSTERED.
They are at WAR with us, but, We're not at WAR with them. Sound familiar?
Holder is a KNOWN CROOK. The GAO, in as much, SAID SO, when they reported that Raines and Holder and Garelick, were "COOKING THE BOOKS".
He's a RACIST, running a BLACKS ONLY Justice Department. A Thief. And a LIAR.
Where the HELL is Rep. ISSA?
