Shaq Retires

NBA legend Shaquille O'Neal has announced his retirement via Twitter.

O'Neal played for 18 seasons with the Orlando Magic, L.A. Lakers, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, Cleveland Cavaliers and the Boston Celtics this past season. Shaq was plagued by injuries during his stint with the Celtics.

He's a slam-dunk to be a first ballot NBA Hall of Famer with four NBA Title rings (three with the Lakers and one with the Heat.)

I am curious as to the thoughts of Ben Stein on Shaq's retirement given the series of hilarious commercials they did together for Comcast a couple of years back. An odd couple indeed.

Each odd in his own way.

Great player who stayed in the game about 5 years too long.
