Piggybacking on Jim’s excellent
Politico column from earlier this week on the political
lessons Ron Paul could still learn, I thought I’d share this piece
by authentic good egg Barry Donegan,
“A Punk-Rock Libertarian in Ronald Reagan’s Court,” wherein he
describes how Paul’s 2008 inspired him to run for Director at Large
of the Davidson County (Nashville) Republican Party, through which
he received a political education of his own.
There’s a lot of wisdom in Donegan’s suggestions on how to
approach and persuade people in the poisonous atmosphere of modern
politics, I think.

Interesting.
While others are urging GOP Candidates to get some "Cajones", apparently Dr. Ron Paul already got em & is bein' encouraged to be " Nice to Neocons", who have systematically & chronically attempted to rip Dr. Paul a new asshole over the years.
Ah Ha !
The Old "Put Your Hands Behind Your Back, While The NeoCons Punch Ya In Your Face" Strategy.
Then They'll Want Dr. Paul To Play The Democrat Liberals' Favorite, " The Ole Victimhood Card".
Dr. Paul is a Gentleman & A Scholar, moving up & down the civility scale, measuring the situation & as needed, properly countering the opposition & knows when he needs to to "Put On The Gorilla Suit".
