No Trump on The Stump

At this point, I am not surprised by Trump's decision.

While I was very critical of Trump's pursuit of Obama's birth certificate from the outset he did score points with it and forced Obama's hand.

But Trump's triumph would be shortlived. His first mistake was to deliver a speech laden with f-bombs. This country is not ready for the President of the United States to begin an Oval Office address with, "My fellow Americans, f#*k you."

Then the wind was completely knocked out of Trump's sails once Osama bin Laden was captured. It made Trump's efforts with regard to Obama's birth certificate look petty and stupid.

All in all, I am glad to see that Donald Trump has rejoined the circus.

Now, let's draft WEST.

West already sold out Real Fiscal Conservatives with this vote,

"Rep. Allen West (R-Fla.), who has emerged as an outspoken conservative voice among GOP freshmen, cast a surprising vote last week against a bill to scrap part of the 2010 healthcare overhaul. The legislation would repeal $100 million in funding for the construction of school-based health centers. West was one of just four Republicans to vote against the measure, which passed 235-191."

As if he even stood a chance. Forced Obama's hand? You sound as ridiculous as Trump claiming credit for such a non issue.
