It might not drop your jaw like the absurdist bit from Dan Adler, but the new NRSC ad is pretty slick:

At this remove it appears as though the "next 18 months" will bring another major push to implement the administration agenda through executive orders and agency regulations. Frankly, one must consider whether political opposition is sufficient to protect our liberties or do the times actually call for more active opposition than that. We have suffered abuses as long as they are tolerable, as Jefferson knew we would, but have we not reached a point at which our response must be, "We shall not comply"?

Obama has always made it clear he's a Marxist who intended to "spread the wealth around." Tyranny by Executive Order--what else did we expect?

Gas prices in Hong Kong are US$8.50 per gallon. About half of the price is excise tax.

We can afford these outrageous prices because we pay a flat tax of 16% on salaried income over US$12,000, a similar flat rate on corporate profits, and no other major taxes, including no sales tax, no capital gains tax and no dividend tax. The annual tax form is two sides of a single sheet of paper.

"You pays your money and you takes your chances."

It's not too late for the U.S. to choose a different path.
