Jeremy Ben Ami, Executive Director of J Street (a so-called pro-Israel organization) has said that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu must offer a two-state solution when he visits Washington D.C. later this month or face more Palestinian violence.

Ami also criticized Netanyahu’s dismissal of the recent reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas. Yet let’s consider what helped Fatah and Hamas to reconcile. According to Abdullah Abdullah, a senior Fatah official, “No one in Fatah and Hamas movements recognizes Israel.” (H/T to Jim Hoft of Gateway Pundit)

What makes anyone think the Palestinians are interested in co-existing with Israel? It was only last month when Hamas fired a missile at an Israeli school bus badly injuring a 16-year-old boy. In March, Palestinians handed out candy after they learned the Fogel family (including three children) had been slaughtered inside their own home. It seems to me that the Palestinians are plenty capable of committing violence and celebrating it without Netanyahu making a peace offer. And yet the onus is on Israel to make peace.

Ben Ami and J Street are nothing more than useful idiots.
