Eye on Pakistan

So the reason we're in Afghanistan is to have a base from which to launch the sort of operation that did in Osama and to keep Pakistan in check, which in the wake of yesterday's events is bound to be an ever more pressing need? That's what Max Boot appears to be arguing.

Now is the time to say "mission accomplished" and bring our people home. I don't care if Obama gets all, part or none of the credit.
