My friend Lisa Fabrizio was right on target yesterday in giving some nice attention to former Sen. Rick Santorum. I'm curious to know what my friend Jeffrey Lord, who hails from Pennsylvania, thinks.

I'll have more on Santorum's latest in the near future. Suffice it to say that the man continues to impress.

Santorum is a decent man but his 59-41 defeat in '06 as a two term incumbent senator eliminates him as a serious candidate for president. Perhaps a veep pick but that's a longshot.

Has it just been filed in the memory hole that Santorum led a media campaign that Iraq really was a threat and that WMDs really had been found (de facto calling Bush and Rummy amongst others liars)?

With humble apologies beforehand and certainly with no disrespect to you or Lisa; but Santorium is NOT the solutions to our historical problem which has culminated within the WH on 11/2/08. This country is fastly going down the financial toilet, and if we manage by the grace of the Almighty to make it to November of 2012 [which could be doubtful], we will need a competent financial leader from the business world of the highest order. Santorium has never run/managed/administered anything that I'm aware of to date [and is to my knowledge a lifelong politician from the legislative ranks]. We've simply had enough of same [through the domination of lawyers/legislators both in state and federal governments]. These individuals are simply incompetent to manage/administer government, which is basically what the job requirements of president are. These lawyer-legislative types may be adequate in congress making laws etc, but not in the administrative chair of the WH, please. The current occupant wouldn't know how to sit behind the WH desk and make a well-reasoned decision if it bit him in the backside. Enough already, please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The only problem is that none of these competent business leaders from the financial world know anything about how politics is played after the contributions to the individual or party has been made. It's nice when you only have a Senator or two and a Representative to duke but it is another thing entirely when you are dealing with 535 narcissists.

You ought to do a piece on T-Town, Quin.

I hail from Bucks County too. My thoughtful and relevant comment about Santorum without being grossly impolite is no, thank you.
