The argument is that why should 1% at the top pull in 20% of the income? Why should the top 50% make 87.2% of the income while the bottom 50% make 12%. do you have a chart showing income for these same brakets from Clinton to Bush or Obama today? Under Clinton, did the top 1% make 20% of the income and did the top 50% make 87.2% of the income? The argument is that in a company, there is over 350 times difference in income from the bottom guy to the top, even when the top guy is destroying the company and leaving with all the gold while the guys on the bottom 50% lose their jobs and get unemployment which many conservatives argue they should not receive. Try to battle these arguments upfront and clearly..
