Bill Beach, the director of the Center for Data Analysis at the Heritage Foundation, has printed an open letter to Paul Krugman of the New York Times, asking him to correct or clarify a number of what Beach says are false assertion about Heritage’s analysis of Rep. Paul Ryan’s budget plan.

Best of luck, Bill. In his column today, “Let’s Not Be Civil,” Krugman encourages the left to be uncivil. It follows on his January commentary blaming the attempted assassination of Rep. Gabby Giffords and the murder of six people on conservative incivility. I wouldn’t expect too much regard for the truth.

Since when does the Progresso-American Community need any encouragement to behave uncivilly?

Is Krugman clinically insane, or does he just seem like it?

Paul makes one point I agreed with, "The point is that the two parties don’t just live in different moral universes, they also live in different intellectual universes". You can't argue with that!! Paul and his friends live in the La-La-Land Universe, and the rest of us live in the Reality Universe. Now of course in our Reality Universe we don't have Unicorns, or the obligatory happy ending to everybody's story, or equal outcomes to everybody's life, but we do live in the reality we've been dealt with, like it or not. It's probably easy and fun to live in the La-La-Land Universe, where everything is easy, "if only" you Tax the Rich!! Plus, in La-La-Land, they've got Unicorns who fly over the rainbows too!! Mmm Unicorns!! They taste just like Chicken!!

Just more kabuki theater between two Ruling Class camps "arguing" whether to have a huge deficit 12 years from now, or a huge deficit 10 years from now.

There really is nothing to see here--neither camp is worthy of respect or consideration.

I think that a large bag of verbal excrement out to be mailed to Paul Krugman with a note saying-- BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU ASK FOR.

A favorite local radio personality here in Indianapolis often remarks: “You are entitled to your opinion. But you are not entitled to your own set of facts”.
Obviously, our talking head is a child of the enlightenment. Mr. Krugman, however, is a post-modern man.
