Ryan Talks to Mark Levin

If you haven't heard it, take a listen to Congressman Paul Ryan appearing last night on Mark Levin's show. It turns out the White House invited him to the Obama speech. He went, and seated a few feet from the President (and a snoozing Vice President Biden) was listening for the "olive branch" that was supposedly to be offered. It never came. Take a listen to Ryan's reaction to what actually happened. Amazing.

First he should have known better. When will Republicans learn that they are dealing with Alynski-ites. Second, once he was there he should have walked out. This President needs his divisiveness thrown back in his face. Then let Ryan have air time to explain his actions. And if the lame strea media won't give him air time, use OUR media.

Dan, it would have been childish and counterproductive for Ryan to walk out. Can you just imagine Obama going before the press and telling everyone how the petulant Congressman walked out in the middle of his speech. Or better yet, maybe it would have been caught on camera. We cannot act on our impulses. Ryan is too smart for that and has handled it well.

Yeah, maybe, but I bet Ryan doesn't fall for Obama's deceitful BS again.

This is classic Obama: petulant BEEyatch slap when no one can respond. Obama treated our Supreme Court Justices the same way, but not quite as badly during the state of the union speech. This shows just what kind of coward this prig is.

I want to know what went on during the lunch that took place with Boehner and O'bama just prior to the last CR. I think Boehner got an Al Capone treatment and we are seeing the results. I don't know why any politician who is serious accepts our king's invitation. It always results in them capitulating to his point of view. I don't think we have EVER seen it go the other way

I have this vision of all the Republicans in the house going beyond ‘You lie’ and coughing ‘Blow Job’ together, ala the Animal House trial scene.

Deborah D| 4.14.11 @ 5:35PM

Hahaha!!! I don't think anyone would gasp if someone yelled "You lie" again to Obama. Someone should yell that at every speech he gives.

What do you think of this video of Representative Paul Ryan discussing his medicare voucher reform proposal, the White House's lack of bipartisanship efforts, the debt commission report and today's House vote on tax cuts, etc (12/10): http://f4a.tv/gSo1b3

Obama plays to win, Republicans play not to lose. Who will lose? Not a Socratic brain teaser, is it?

The Emperor:
Everything that has transpired has done so according to my design. Your friends, up there on C-SPAN, are walking into a trap, as is your continuing resolution. It was *I* who allowed the Tea Party to know the location of the stimulus spending. It is quite safe from your pitiful little band. An entire legion of my best lobbyists awaits them. Oh, I'm afraid ACORN will be quite operational when your friends arrive.

What a fraud-- TARP Ryan just voted for the budget deal so I guess he is house trained.

Derek Leaberry| 4.14.11 @ 4:58PM

Levin was cowardly. He didn't reproach Ryan for his support for Boehner's very flawed budget deal.

Deborah D| 4.14.11 @ 5:32PM

Obama is infantile, as are most liberals. He is arrogant and hostile. How anyone can like this guy is beyond me. We've never -- in my lifetime -- had a president who is so disgustingly self-righteous and "down right mean" -- as Michelle O might say.
