Obama’s Mondale Moment

President Obama today said that Republicans “will raise taxes, and so will I. They won’t tell you. I just did.”

Wait, no, that’s not quite right. Walter Mondale said it in 1984. (I’ve swapped “Republicans” in for “Mr. Reagan.”) How well did that work out for him?

Does Obama inhabit an alternative universe or is he simply mad?

I have never seen anyone avoid reality like Obama does.
His latest speech went beyond mere political "spin" or "White Lies".
It was a complete avoidance of economic reality.

The American Thinker has an article which under the old methods the calculated inflation rate is above 9.6% and rising.
Add to that the "Official" unemployment rate is 8.8% and the real rate hitting over 20% in some sectors.
Also add the value of the dollar is dropping like a rock.
Finally with the job creation rate a negative rate when the growth of the population is considered all major economic indicators are negative.
Obama does not see or will not see an economy in trouble.

He is so delusional he still thinks the spending level is still too low and it is the "Rich" who needs to give more.
So I will ask again, does Obama inhabit an alternative universe or is he simply mad?
