The Spectacle Blog

Lord, if only it were so easy! one can almost hear a million narcissistic, messianic aspiring executive branch wannabes cry: Two years ago three year-old Jesse Koczon became a YouTube star when video of his I want to be Governor but can't! tantrum hit the web.

Yesterday Chris Christie granted Jesse's wish, and, boy did this kid and his brother ever take advantage of their first press conference. While in general I would prefer the youth of America aspire to careers not predicated on establishing electoral fiefdoms over their fellow citizens, I nevertheless must admit that when little Jesse described his governing style as akin to that of "a maniac" on Good Morning America I found his candor very refreshing.

When I saw that video, one word came to mind. Democrat!

I hope that kid's parents teaches him good health habits, healthy diet and exercise for example. He doesn't want to grow up and look like the governor.

Good point Diana. Maybe he can start stuttering, telling lies, smoking cigarettes and snorting cocaine now so he can act presidential.

Does he have a birth certificate?

The kid's cute but he weirds me out.

Or maybe he can learn to make a waitress sandwich like Teddy K and Chris Dodd and he can become a senator.

Ew.
