The amazing disconnect again strikes me, reading the
pre-coverage of President Obama’s trip to Pennsylvania today to a
windmill factory to decry high gas prices…uh huh…yes, I see the
connection…his response to which is touting an energy policy
under which, he said on video, “electricity rates will necessarily
skyrocket”.
To add to the confusion further, the same agenda will have the
same impact on gas prices.
So which of the following is it? The guy has no grasp of that
about which he speaks — a hard sell given he used to say he’s
pushing this scheme because it worked in Spain; he no longer says
look to Spain but still pushes it, so methinks someone somewhere in
the operation knows some facts — or he thinks the governed
are fools. Maybe he just thinks the people schlepped out to attend
these events are. Or don’t care.
I don’t know. But in an age where one rhetorical flub can be the
end of a Republican’s career, it is quite something that the guy
gets a pass on such absurdities and pushing something he’s
openly admitted will have impacts which, when even alleged
to be the result of the policies of a politician not protected by
the media results in his being turned out of office, and for a
constantly changing series of excuses no less (catastophic
man-made global warming; no? jobs!, that’s it; er, wait:
‘energy of the future’ [chuckle…it’s a
windmill!]).
Every one of these speeches is a rhetorical version of Gerald
Ford falling down the steps. Imagine, say, Bush going to a
cigarette factory to talk about the high cost of health insurance,
at which he proposed a tax on doctor visits. Would he ever live
that down?

Here is another idea about challenging Obama specifically about the ECONOMY--CHALLENGE OBAMA TO A DEBATE ABOUT ENERGY POLICY.
I would say this, while I am on a "campaign " about "debates" IF THIS IDEA WERE TAKEN "TOO FAR" --MEANING TO SAY PUSHED TO THE LIMIT--OBAMA WOULD SQUIRM AND DO A CAKE WALK TO A GOLF COURSE.

More "wisdumb" from GloBama.

Well, Well, Well.
The Green Genie is being commanded to power the US transportation system with wind power through the force of Obama's personality.
The funny thing is this concept makes sense to the MSM and Obama minions.
The Republicans best hope is that Obama never wises up that the Green Genie strategy will never work and Obama looks ludicrous trying to make it work.

Yeah right.
We don't need no renewable clean energy.
Let's instead give tax credits to people who buy gas guzzlers like Bush did.
We definitely need to increase our dependence on foreign oil.
God you people are stupid.

You got it jharp. Obama made that promise to Brazil and he aims to keep it.

Can we now refer to this president as having a Don Quixoti complex along with the Narcissism In Chief? As inefficient as windmills are... I guess he must own some part of one of the companies... you think?
Just like the expensive sun panels, the sun doesn't shine: no electricity. No wind: no electricity... why don't we get a bunch of bicycle powered generators to power the home? Burn a lot of calories, lose some weight! That should please Aunt Michelle Obama...

All the power the world needs could be provided by alternative energy sources within 20-40 years if the political will could be found, according to Stanford researchers. Please note. No nuclear energy is required.

I know this uses science that has a well known liberal bias but maybe just one of you dumbasses will learn something from it.

You'll be long dead by then, harp. What do we do in the meantime?
Junk science has a well know liberal bias.

Windmills don't even show up on a pie chart of current energy sources. Quick! GOVERNMENT SUBSIDIES!!!
Oh, they do show up, a bit: https://flowcharts.llnl.gov/content/energy/energy_archive/energy_flow_2009/LLNL_US_Energy_Flow_2009.png
In other news, actual thermometer instead of tree ring records exist that carry back upwards of a whopping 350 years. I have plotted then in single glance format here: http://i49.tinypic.com/rc93fa.jpg
Not even the much vaunted Global Average shows any trend change in recent versus past history: http://i49.tinypic.com/2mpg0tz.jpg
