Forget Antle v. Tabin.

The most entertaining war powers debate is currently between Ed Schultz and himself--even if it is probably only a proxy war for the one the Ghost of Candidate Past is currently waging upon President Obama. First, in what sounded like his go-to paraphrasing of every George W. Bush speech a few short years ago, Schultz demanded proof of whether "unpatriotic" Republicans were "with the terrorists" or "with the President of the United States" on "kicking [Gaddafi's] ass." Now comes video of Schultz attempting to shout down an anti-Libyan war Nation reporter with nonsensical accusations of "Bush-talk" and a totally hysterical insistence that the reporter pledge allegiance to Obama before the debate can continue. Not exactly the tune Schultz used to sing, but what can you expect from a partisan sycophant who believes if he "trusts" the guy running the executive branch, everyone else should learn to shut up and do so, regardless of circumstance or context, as well.

Send your own son to Libya CHICKENHAWK SHULTZ...

Yes Schultz* how about SENDING YOUR GOLFER SON TO FIGHT, you stinking hypocrite

Yes, yes, I know it's a bizarre argument to think that a father could send his adult offspring to join up.

But I'm using Putz's own TOXIC LOGIC (and the degenerate left) and his previous form in calling conservatives (who supported the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan) CHICKENHAWKS if they hadn't served. Or if they were not prepared to press gang their adults kids into the military. As if they could.

"An argument between a GOP supporter and liberal talk radio host Ed Schultz over the Iraq war actually turned physical, according to the Forum of Fargo, North Dakota.

Nagle, who was visiting relatives in the area, said his cousin introduced him to Schultz Saturday night. She wrongly thought Schultz was still a Republican, as he was earlier in his radio broadcasting career.

Nagle, who was with his fiancee Saturday, said he and Schultz had a civil discussion for about 10 minutes and that Schultz didn’t appear uncomfortable. The conversation went sour when Nagle said he respects Joe Lieberman, the Independent Democratic senator from Connecticut known for supporting the Iraq war.

Nagle said Schultz said he doesn’t like Lieberman, and then commented that if Nagle felt so strongly about the war, his family should go over and fight in it.

The daughter of Nagle’s fiancee serves in the Army and may soon go to Iraq.

His fiancee’s son-in-law has served in Iraq. “It was at that time that Mr. Schultz completely lost control, in my opinion,” Nagle said. “He became enraged, and then our interactions became far less civil.”"

This is from Sgt. Putz's Radio Show forum

Another Republican Chickenhawk wont send his own sons to fight for HIS President

"LIBERAL "LOGIC"

#213. It's acceptable for the state to abort a baby carried by 13 year old without TELLING THE PARENTS, but Conservatives have to PRESS GANG their ADULT children into military service.

The best part was when Sgt. Putz called the anti-Qadaffi forces "freedom fighters." So we're arming stinking al Qaeda now? That's got to be great for our armed forces' morale.

Too, too funny! Sargent Schultz, wadda a joker...if SS did not provide so much comedy MeSSNBC would have to throw his pudgy self out!

The man has s@%t for brains, and simply runs at the mouth.

David W| 3.31.11 @ 1:56PM

wow, Ed really is an idiot. Saddam Hussein, in the first Gulf War, killed Americans. Thus the second gulf war was proper, per Ed's reasoning. Libya is really a pimple on a boil, compared to Iran (oh wait, isn't Iran providing arms, explosives, and training to the Taliban and Iraqi insurgents)? More Americans have died as a result of Iran's support/meddling than have by Libya. Yet Iran is untouched.

and by the way, Obama is not "my" President. He may be the President of the country, but if he were my President he would be supporting this country, instead of giving it a gigantic enema.

Jonah| 3.31.11 @ 3:00PM

Obama: Proctologist in Chief. Sounds about right.

Oldefarte| 3.31.11 @ 3:24PM

Schultz is a typical MSNBC MORON in the mold of Maddow, Matthews, and [previously] Olbermann. Anyone who spends more than a minute of their time viewing that idiotic, terrorist-propagandizing cable network should have their heads examined. Mr ED obviously has his head so far up El Chosen One's rear end, that his nose is sticking our of CHOSEN'S navel. What a liberalistic DORK!!!!!!!!!

MikeN| 3.31.11 @ 3:26PM

Not surprising. In '08, a caller said Kerry's endorsement of Obama was a betrayal, since Bill Clinton campaigned for Kerry after having heart surgery. Ed claimed he didn't understand the argument.

Jo| 3.31.11 @ 3:28PM

That kid from the Nation cleaned Schultz's clock. Dumb fool looked even stupider than usual and I didn't know that was possible.

The Chickenhawk, Sargeant Schultz gets dissed.

A Balrog of Morgoth| 3.31.11 @ 8:48PM

He's pretty much just a parody of the imaginary Rush Limbaugh who lives rent free in Libtards' heads.

Loadmaster| 4.1.11 @ 7:24AM

Ed's words will come back to bite his big old butt.

Mike W| 4.1.11 @ 9:05AM

So according to David W, we took out Saddam Hussein after he killed Americans in 1991, never mind the fact we bombed his country for weeks.

That was a real good reason to back into Iraq at a cost of trillions, thousands of dead and wounded.

Sgt. Schultz is a disgusting hypocrite. Is anyone surprised?

Stan Redmond| 4.1.11 @ 9:37AM

"The UN security has not rendered a decision yet"

"I take president Obama's word for it"

Oy vey!
