Boehner: No Deal

House Speaker John Boehner is not on the same page as Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid. At a press conference this morning, Boehner said, “There is no agreement on a set of numbers.” He accused the Democrats of rooting for a government shutdown. This is sure to generate more Tea Party jokes from Reid. Tea Party activists are currently rallying on Capitol Hill urging the Republicans to stick to their spending cuts pledge.

Gross, Oldefarter--too much info.

Keep it up Mr. Reid. The Tea party will take on the rest of your vile party and all the drones that voted in Obamacare. Just continue the arrogance and we'll send the rest packing so they'll have time to attend the Cowboy Poetry Festival in their spare time.

It is a known scientific fact that the hair folicles on an individuals posterior is directly proportioanl to the number of caps used per sentance.

Why is it that the leftists keep talking about compromise, but refuse to do any compromising?

Jo| 3.31.11 @ 6:29PM

Because Liberals lie. But of course you already knew that!

No deal? History shows the GOP will compromise (cave-in) not only on the budget but the upcoming debt-ceiling limit. Business as usual.

Paul McGrath| 3.31.11 @ 7:54PM

Shut it down and take the consequences, whatever they might be. For God's sake, have people changed that much since November?

Any signs of a U.S. (and, by extension, world) recovery could be thrown off track in the next two to three months as Congress wrangles over raising the country's debt limit. In 1995 - 1996, a partisan Congress under Newt Gingerich refused to raise the debt ceiling which resulted in a shutdown of government and a massive impact on the United States economy.

Here is an examination of the issue showing just how frequently the debt ceiling has been raised in the past decade and how the entire situation has reached the point of absurdity under both Republicans and Democrats:

Shut it the hell down! Someone's got to take a stand.

Boehner better hold strong and the Socialist Marxist like Reid--You shut down the Government and try blaming Rzz. We should play that now famous tape of Schumer scheming.

Corey Mondello| 4.1.11 @ 3:16PM

Boehner used to pass out checks to his friends in congress from his smoking buddies. This is one version of socialism, spreading the wealth.

Boehner smokes and most likely will suffer the consequences, his health will fail and because he works in government, American taxpayer's will be paying for his health care even though we all known the common folk would have to fend for themselves if they were in the same situation. His subsidized health care is part of socialist ideology, spreading the wealth to care for those in need.

Do you get a bathroom break at work? That too is socialism.

Democratic Socialism = We The People. Unregulated Capitalism = Profits before People.

Socialism is forced redistribution of wealth, moron, and theft is against God's Commandments. There's nothing moral about stealing from others. Look at any Communist country; their standard of living is far inferior to that of Capitalist countries. Move there and leave us the hell alone.

Oldefarte| 4.1.11 @ 12:57PM

JO: It's not visual, it's verbiage [and also, HUMOR]!!!!!!!!!

Jo| 4.1.11 @ 10:30PM

Unfortunately, Oldefarter, the visual was inescapable and the humor debatable.

Oldefarte| 4.1.11 @ 1:06PM

Neo: individuals [or individual's], proportioanl [or proportional], and sentance [or sentence]? Are these FACT?

Jo| 4.1.11 @ 10:31PM

Are these FACTS? :)
