let us gave a round of applause to the CIA.
It is the CIA's job to find out the facts about the political, military and economic developments in other nations.
They have certainly been in top form in finding all the facts on the Libyan Rebels.
Why else would the Obama administration and MSM decide the rebels were peaceful secular internationalists whose only thoughts are for bringing Freedom, Democracy and Liberty to the people of Libya.
The blowback on the Libyan Rebellion will be massive.

I have often wondered what it means to kill the thread of the blog.
What does it mean to post a comment and no one follows?
On the above thread, why has no one asked the obvious question.
What does the CIA know about the Libyan Rebellion.
The CIA is tasked to know who is behind the rebels.
Their silence can only mean they know exactly who is behind the rebels and that guy is just down the hall at Langley.

Dixie, asking one of us to analyze what our Central Intelligence Agency knows and when it knew it is, with all due respect[and I do respect you], asking us to run a fool's errand. Our CIA has not been competent since at least the early days of Vietnam. The founder[s] of this once effective, even heroic and able organization must surely be spinning in their respective tombs. At least before Frank Church gutted and hamstrung this puzzle-palace, there were reasonable expectations that the "spooks" might figure something out before the fact and make sensible attempts to make the end-game a winner for America. Now we see a mishmash of machinery above and witlessness down here, none of which leads to productive intel anywhere. In short, like sooooo much of the Federal government, the CIA is in the crapper too. Best

Thanks J.C.
I suddenly realized that the CIA had went dead silent and they only do that when the CIA is running a major operation.
Otherwise they would be boasting of their foreknowledge when not involved .
Or the CIA is in CYA verbose mode when caught flatfooted.
In both cases we would have heard a lot from them.
But my best guess is the French Securite Exterieure is the lead agency with the MI6 and CIA in secondary roles.
I base my thoughts on the fact the French were the first off the mark and seemed to be in the lead.
Not only that SecState Hillary went to Europe with the stated purpose to create the Libyan Opposition and why do that if the Libyan Rebel Leadership already existed.
Forgetting to create the illusion of a Opposition Government is what all three agencies are famous for.
After all, their political masters do not want them able to create replacement governments less they do the same to their political masters!
