I just ran across an old, draft Request for Correction under the federal Information Quality Act in my files and thought I’d check up on whether or not ClimateGate had been recognized at NOAA, seeing as how I’m about to sue them for refusing to provide requested records relating to, inter alia, their IPCC work, references to ClimateGate, how Michael Mann became a lead author to promote the Hockey Stick at the orchestration of the U.S. government, and several other items.
If you want to see this same chart, deconstructed, in a great excerpt from a lecture by an otherwise generally AGW sympathetic Cal Berkeley prof explaining why, post-ClimateGate, he has a list of scientists whose publications he doesn’t both reading any more, see here. The excerpt, incidentally, if you want to view the entire lecture, picks up after he destroys Al Gore’s hysteria on storms.

Mr. and Mrs. American Spectator Reader, let P.J. O’Rourke talk sense to your kids.

It won’t take long for conservatives to scratch this presidential wannabe off their 2008 scorecard.
Was the President done in by the economy, or by the politics of the economy?
