Young Tea Party activist Tabitha Hale got roughed up Wednesday by one of the union protesters who were picketing outside Miss Hale’s employer, Freedomworks. The incident was caught on video and, although utterly ignored by the liberal media, was extensively blogged by conservatives, including Michelle Malkin.
In another incident at the same protest, also captured on video, one of the union picketers made a comment about a lack of diversity among the FreedomWork activists. When a FreedomWorks supporter responded that he was Jewish, this prompted a young woman in the AFL-CIO mob to begin yelling that he was “bad Jew!”
So it would appear, based on this woman’s rant, that Richard Trumka has become the High Priest of Righteous Judaism — which is kind of strange, considering that Trumka’s Italian.

A man of faith in a godless age is hitting Americans where it hurts.
Mr. and Mrs. American Spectator Reader, let P.J. O’Rourke talk sense to your kids.
In Britain, defending your property can get you life.
The debacle of this president’s administration is both a cause and a symptom of the decline of American values. Unless Congress impeaches him, that decline will go on unchecked. An eminent jurist surveys the damage and assesses the chances for the recovery of our culture.
It won’t take long for conservatives to scratch this presidential wannabe off their 2008 scorecard.
The American Christmas, like the songs that celebrate it, makes room for everybody under the rainbow. Is that why so many people seem to be hostile to it?
Was the President done in by the economy, or by the politics of the economy?

The staged videos with the ridiculous and implausible descriptions really need to stop.
Honestly, what anatomically equipped male finds it plausible that a woman getting assaulted next to them would play out like this?
That she'd say hey don't touch my phone and you would both continue filming from the same distance and talking at the same tone for a while before remembering to say "hey you assaulted her" at the same volume.
Does anyone have so little dignity and credibility to say "yep, that's me, that's how it would totally go down".
David W| 2.24.11 @ 8:28AM
You obviously haven't watched local news programs where the "investigative" reporter has the camera in someone's face (who says "get that damn camera out of my face") and yet the reporter keeps filming. Have you watch the papparazzi follow entertainers? Have you seen frustrated entertainers strike out - yet the camera keeps rolling?
True, if I had been there I probably would have punched that violent left winger in the face. However, I can imagine the narrative - "violent right winger punches peaceful demonstrator for equality and fairness". Perhaps it is better to hold back, not strike out, and show how morally bankrupt and hypocritical the left really is (and it is just starting).
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 1:48PM
Tabitha Hale should press charges against the nasty thug. Violence against women cannot be tolerated.
Who does the little weasel think he is--an Egyptian?
Vander| 2.24.11 @ 4:29PM
"You obviously haven't watched local news programs where the "investigative" reporter has the camera in someone's face (who says "get that damn camera out of my face") and yet the reporter keeps filming."
Clearly I have, since we all just watched it together. That's the point. This is what happens when someone pushes a camera away. As opposed to what happens when you beat up a woman 2 feet from her male companion.
0 from 23.
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 4:34PM
What's next for you thugs--you're going to defend gang rape? This ain't Egypt and you won't get away with your vile behavior.
Vander| 2.25.11 @ 6:58PM
If you suggest that's a video of someone getting raped and I say it isn't then yeah, I guess I will "defend" that in exactly the same way.
ps. Stop molesting children. Should you object to this accusation being plausible, you'll of course be defending it.
NoLib| 3.1.11 @ 3:12AM
You liberal whores will defend anything to gain power. Violence is nothing to you.
CalMark| 2.24.11 @ 3:18AM
You're up late (or is it early?) eh, troll?
Anyway, the Left always films things. And as for your incoherent rant, the bottom line is this: what kind of man hits a woman?
Answer: a liberal. One of your fellow travelers. Be proud! If you're even a person, and not one of Obama's "fake person" committees.
Vander| 2.24.11 @ 4:11AM
So I guess that's a "no" from you then. Cheers.
Mike| 2.24.11 @ 9:32AM
It is now time for me to request of those on the right to apply the same standard they called for when the left was pointing out aberrant behavior on the part of individuals during the Tea Party rallies. Recognize this as an unfortunate, isolated event that is not representative of the union movement.
Are you willing to be consistent, Mr. McCain?
Bydand76| 2.24.11 @ 12:44PM
Mike,
The only difference is that the hyperbole pointed at the TEA parties by the bloviating left and their propoganda outlets was that it was made up liberal garbage.
I have yet to see a single instance of someone at a TEA party slapping the proverbial opponent.
I have yet to see someone at a TEA party rally come unhinged and start slinging homosexual epithets at a perceived opponent.
Yet this has happened in response to the Wisconsin CBA protests by the left and owned wholly and completly by the liberal idiots who espouse this moronic philosophy.
I suggest you brush up on your Alinsky there bud because this is what the left does.
Behaves a certain way and then accuses thier enemies (yes I said enemies) of behaving the same way.
I would suggest you open your eyes Mike because the day of hand-outs and subsidies for Union pigs is rapidly coming to an end.
Pro Libertate!
Mike| 2.24.11 @ 3:52PM
So Bydand76,
Are you going to try to convince me that Tim McVeigh was a Big Government liberal who bombed for more federal bureaucracy?
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 4:27PM
McVeigh came from a family of union democrats.
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 4:31PM
Tim McVeigh was a Tea Partier? You need your head examined, clown.
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 1:45PM
"Aberrant behavior on the part of individuals during the Tea Party rallies." Do you mean the Democrat union thugs who beat up the black Conservative Kenneth Gladney in Missouri? Yes, I recall that violent incident clearly.
Nothing aberrant about the union thugs' behavior at all, as evidenced by the assault on 5'1" Tabitha Hale. Leftists are violent; it's just your way. Even your democrat congressmen are exhorting you to "Get a little bloodied in the streets."
I hope Tabitha presses charges against that hateful little weasel of a man. Push back is necessary to discourage union thugs' violence.
Occam's Tool| 2.24.11 @ 10:17AM
Coercion and threats ARE a normal part of Union interventions, Mike. I have belonged to Unions in two countries.
Bob Miller| 2.24.11 @ 10:34AM
For a certain type of liberal, their real religion is liberalism, whatever they choose to call it.
Mike| 2.24.11 @ 10:53AM
Bob,
Considering all of the good wrought by liberalism, e.g. The U.S. Constitution to name but one instance, that was fiercely resisted by conservatives, I don't thinks liberals have anything for which to apologize.
Clint| 2.24.11 @ 11:16AM
The First Tea Party Patriots wrought The U.S. Constitution, ObamaBoy Apologist.
Mike| 2.24.11 @ 3:37PM
So Clint, are you arguing that today's Tea Partiers are liberals? I'm fascinated. Please continue.

The Tea Partiers and our Founders are/were patriots, unlike you traitorous libs.
Occam's Tool| 4.29.11 @ 7:39PM
Tea Partiers are Classical Liberals, yes.
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 1:50PM
Leftists try to lay claim to our Founders and Ronald Reagan--it's beyond disgusting, it's delusional.
Mike| 2.24.11 @ 10:35AM
Occam, I will have to take you at your word that you belonged to unions in two countries.
Speaking of coercion and threats, here is something for you to consider. During the last election, Tea Party candidate talked about "Second Amendment" remedies. Recently fired Deputy Attorney General of Indiana, Jeffrey Cox, twittered about using live ammunition against union demonstrators. Whether outside the government trying to get in (Angle) or inside already, some right wingers really seem to have this need to shoot somebody.
Eric Cartman| 2.24.11 @ 11:27AM
But shooting Leftist demanding we socialize our country and more of my money to do so is both self protection and a public service. And the only ones talking about shedding blood are Democrats, so I figure you're fair game. Threatening us isn't a real good idea if you don't want a bullet in your carcass.
Mike| 2.24.11 @ 3:34PM
Eric,
See if you spot the internal contradiction in your post. Let me give you a hint. Read your last two sentences.
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 1:53PM
How convenient that you omitted the violent threats of Mass. Democrat Congressman Mike Capuano calling for blood in the streets. Why hasn't he been fired? Hypocrite.
Occam's Tool| 4.29.11 @ 7:40PM
I'm in a union in Minnesota, and I belonged to the Association of Senior Medical Specialists in New Zealand.
Clint| 2.24.11 @ 11:20AM
Sooo, ObamaBoy Apologist, tell The American Spectator Readers exactly how many people You think We Tea Party Patriots have shot.
The Tea Party Rebellion Escalates.
Rise Up.
Oldefarte| 2.24.11 @ 2:29PM
Can't discern anything from this video, but the multitude of video/pictures/new stories of this political happening would leave anyone but a complete idiot [of which there are many] with the distinct impression that these roving bands of unionists thugs are a coordinated plan of attack by the liberal domestic terrorists aka DEMOCRATS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Patriot| 2.24.11 @ 2:34PM
These democrat union thugs think they can beat up on innocent women like their fellow vicious bullies in Egypt. They're wrong.
martin j smith| 2.24.11 @ 2:58PM
It may be necessary in certain situations to have a response to Union thuggury . This could entail volutneers of well built people with cameras along with lawyers on site to have an instant case of assault when it happens. Beyond that Aggresively ( but politely ) make efforts to have police cooperation to arrest these lawless people. Police do not cooperate ? Bring them to court and plaster their pictures all over the web.
Chris B| 2.24.11 @ 3:23PM
1-Trumka's half Italian, and half Polish ( and on behalf of Polish-Americans everywhere, I half apologize).
2- The book of "If a Republican had said that..." is growing so large, it would take 20 Teamsters to lift it ( at time and a half. You gotta problem with that?).

Note the purple SEIU lapel on the woman shouting "You're a bad Jew!" SEIU--Slavemasters Eager to Intimidate Us--is the most corrupt and violent of the unions, having adopted punk band Dropkick Murphys song "Take 'Em Down" as their anthem and posting on their blog: http://www.seiu.org/2011/02/th.....urphys.php The song's lyrics include:
When the boss comes callin' we gotta organize
Let em know
We gotta take the bastards down
Let them know
We gotta smash them to the ground
Let em know
We gotta take the bastards down
As for "bad Jew," where does halacha (Jewish law) ever support forcing a worker to join a labor union (or ponying up "fair share fees") just to keep a job? Is not this practice oppressing a needy laborer--by powerful unions in this case? And what about all those signs comparing Governor Walker to Hitler being carried by union supporters in Madison--does this not offend the memory of victims and survivors of the Holocaust?
