A Bloody Double Standard

At a rally in support of Wisconsin public sector unions in Boston Common yesterday, Massachusetts Democratic Congressman Michael Capuano told union supporters, "Every once in a while you need to get out on the streets and get a little bloody when necessary."

Now Capuano has since walked back his remarks. O.K. Fine. Yet this is the same Capuano who recently said, "Nothing wrong with throwing a coffee cup at someone if you're doing it for human rights." Ah yes, the ends justifies the means.

Of course, could you imagine the holy hell that would have been unleashed if Capuano had been a Republican Congressman who had told a Tea Party rally they needed to get out on the streets and get a little bloody? Capuano would have got the Paul Krugman treatment a la Michele Bachmann. Such treatment would have consisted of not placing Bachmann's "armed and dangerous" remarks in their proper context. But therein lies the difference between a Minnesota Republican and a Massachusetts Democrat.

It should be noted Capuano, who was bested by Martha Coakley for the Democratic Senate nomination last year, is being touted as a possible opponent for Scott Brown in 2012. It could get bloody interesting.

It's ok to incite violence as long as it comes from the left to the right. Capuano also referred to the few Tea Partiers also excersing their right to be heard and refers to them "as a couple of nuts who want to take it all away from you".

Imagine referring to hard working taxpayers in such a derogatory manner. Those "nuts" probably had to take a vacation day to be heard while the good union folk had the week off already, skipped out on work or were bused in & paid to be rude!

It is time for the taxpayers to wake up & realize that we can't sustain this level of spending. Don't expect those politicians bankrolled by the unions to do so.

It would of course also have to be 'fair trade' coffee.

From good old TJ.

"God forbid we should ever be twenty years without such a rebellion.
The people cannot be all, and always, well informed. The part which is
wrong will be discontented, in proportion to the importance of the facts
they misconceive. If they remain quiet under such misconceptions,
it is lethargy, the forerunner of death to the public liberty. ...
And what country can preserve its liberties, if its rulers are not
warned from time to time, that this people preserve the spirit of
resistance? Let them take arms. The remedy is to set them right as
to the facts, pardon and pacify them. What signify a few lives lost
in a century or two? The tree of liberty must be refreshed from
time to time, with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
It is its natural manure."

Bring it on, you mis-informed union pussies.

Capuano called for the people to assemble and petition the govt for redress of grievances. He violated the First Amendment BY PROXY when advocating that the people not *peaceably* assemble, rather he advocated violence.

Cox violated the First Amendment OUTRIGHT when advocating the use of force to suppress and eliminate the people's constitutionally protected right to peaceably assemble and petition the govt for redress of grievances.

Cox is the greater of the two evils. He wanted the govt to become tyrannical. Capuano wanted the people to be come tyrannical.

Both should be held to account - that I completely agree with.

This is just the beginning. In 2012 watch the Unions (Democrats) ratchet up the violence into mob action. They will instigate battles with the tea party. The purpose will be for Obama to finally declare martial law. The Dems have no intention of giving up power.

Should it come to trial:

Judge: Throwing a cup of coffee is not an offence.

Defendant: Your Honor, I have a cup of coffee in my hand - may I approach the bench?
