The New York Times, in its report this morning about the massive snowstorm covering much of the U.S., begins with:

A paralyzing 2,000-mile swath of winter at its snowy, icy, messy worst pushed eastward across the United States on Tuesday, disrupting the rhythms of everyday life and punctuating this season’s recurring lesson that humankind has no dominion over nature.

I’m sure that last phrase was purely accidental.

Thank goodness for global warming, think how cold it would be without it (I read that someone forecast a mini-ice age starting in 2035. Maybe they meant 2011). Oh my gosh, you don't think that the scientifically-correct movie "The Day After Tomorrow" was right all along???

Probably a good idea to get a screencapture of that. Like several other web pages that were reported as containing statements opposed to man-caused global warming on sites otherwise promoting the idea, such things usually get scrubbed in short order, replaced with the usual party line dogma.

The days when the winds turn cold and frozen water falls from the sky are called winter.
The condition occurs once per year and is a surprise only to Liberals.
After all, Liberals consider it a personal tribulation when they are inconvenienced in any way.
The funny part is it does not occur without warning and most people prepare for it in advance.

Ahhh...For the days when the Hudson and Potomac rivers froze solid every winter.
Those were the days when the rivers froze to a depth of 3 feet and routinely cut up and stored for summer ice.
Then Winter was a real winter and was deadly serious.

There is a reason to live down South. But i\I digress. You see global warming increases the evaporation from rivers and lakes which increases cloud cover and makes the earth more reflective of sunlight thereby cooling temperatures... Oh wait, that would mean we live on a self-regulating planet and climate change is nothing to fear. Poor Lefties.

"Humankind has no dominion over nature"? Uh-oh, I'll bet the NYT person who made that editing slip has already been scheduled for "climate change sensitivity training" and a "self-criticism session" with their co-workers.

Maybe his editor was snowed in?

Proof that truth in the media is mostly accidental.
