Paul Chesser is no doubt correct in his
observation that The New York Times did not intend to
state "humankind has no dominion over nature" in response to
today's nearly nationwide snowstorm.
The same,
however, cannot be said of Al Gore. The former Vice-President
replying to a question put forward by Bill O'Reilly states that
this deluge of winter weather is "a consequence of man-made global
warming."
It's good to know that we can rely on Gore to blow in hot air on
a cold day.
I had a revelation about this the other day--I've noted it at
http://lwolt.wordpress.com/ but the short summary
is: The solution to global warming is to buy and use more
SUV's.
If Al Gore saw his shadow, would we have to call it an
eclipse?

Is this a fat joke?

No see, global warming increases evaporation from lakes and
rivers thereby increasing cloudcover which makes the Earth more
reflective of sunlight causing cooling which brings the snow... No,
Wait, that would mean we live on a self-regulating planet and
climate change is nothing to fear. Poor Lefties, trapped by their
own hypothesis.

Algore must be correct when he says "global warming causes more
snow". The historical record is clear... every "hot" cycle is
followed by an ice age. QED, global warming causes Ice Ages. And
what accompanies an Ice Age if not more snow? So, again, QED,
global warming causes glaciers to advance.
While this may seem to contradict what you've heard ad infinitum
over the past two decades I'm certain that Blizzard Al will be
proven right. And, BTW, we'll need higher taxes and more
regulations to combat the coming Global Warming Ice Age.

Al was a C student, I believe. Dady was a Senator and got him
into Harvard.

See folks, the warmer temps are pushing the cold Arctic air further south, through Canada into the US.
That's the explanation, in one sentence.

With Gore, you must ignore facts, as he has for at least 30 years. Then it all starts to make sense.
Kenny| 2.2.11 @ 12:53PM
I'd say Gore is a complete fool except for the fact that he's made (and is still making) millions off his hucksterism.

Al Goren said so!

"Goren" is plural for "Gore".
