ABC reports:
In an extraordinary outburst on the House floor, Rep. Steve Cohen (D-TN) invoked the Holocaust to attack Republicans on health care and compared rhetoric on the issue to the work of infamous Nazi propagandist Joseph Goebbels.
“They say it’s a government takeover of health care, a big lie just like Goebbels,” Cohen said. “You say it enough, you repeat the lie, you repeat the lie, and eventually, people believe it. Like blood libel. That’s the same kind of thing. And Congressman Cohen didn’t stop there.
“The Germans said enough about the Jews and people believed it—believed it and you have the Holocaust. We heard on this floor, government takeover of health care. Politifact said the biggest lie of 2010 was a government takeover of health care because there is no government takeover,” Cohen said.

As it is now, you believe it is impossible that Republicans could have joined a mob of tea-party protesters in shouting "Nazis!" at Democrats.

If I like to the print media stories -- which you could find with a simple google search -- you will simply say the reporters made the incident up as a part of the liberal plot to destroy America via biased journalism.

I once read that Obama likes to dine on the entrails of aborted fetuses. Since I claim to have read this, does it make it so? Of course not. I would have to provide a citation, given the seriousness of the claim. So when you as a liberal come on a conservative website and make very serious claims about republicans, you have to expect a challenge. Again, provide us with a citation and I will personally come to your defense and offer a condemnation. I don't put up with any of that nonsense from our side and you ought not put up with it from democrats.
