I hoisted a Courvoisier last night in honor of his service as a WW II submariner.

Ted Agnew kicked his teeth in circa 1972.

Sargent Shriver was a decent, honorable man. Spiro Agnew was a corrupt politician.
End of story.

The "Peace Corpse" was a really stupid idea. And, was a way for yellow-bellied, draft-dodging cowards (like Chris Matthews) to hide from truly serving their country.
That being stated, I pray for Mr. Shriver's soul, and for his family.
I would ask for others to pray for my great-uncle, and his family, who passed away last Saturday. He served during WWII in the U.S. Army Air Corps.
