A Gallup
poll further confirms that Americans are not buying the left’s
claim that conservatives were to blame for the Tucson shooting.
The survey found that 53 percent see the talk about inflamatory
language in connection with the shooting as an effort to make
conservatives look bad, compared with just 35 percent who see it as
a legitimate point. Also, just 20 percent said rhetoric was a major
factor, 22 percent saw it as a minor factor, and 42 percent said it
wasn’t a factor at all.
Asked who has gone too far in their rhetoric, in a more general
sense, Americans viewed different groups equally — 53 percent said
Republicans and their supporters went too far, 51 percent said
Democrats and their supports went too far, and 49 percent said the
tea parties went too far.

You betcha the Tea Party went too far, we went all the way up to Washington on 9/12 (twice), and a few hundred other events across the Nation, and then we went into our wallets to support our Candidates, and then we went to the polling booths on the 02nd of November, and voted the the bums out!! Think we went too far? Hold onto your hats, we're willing to go further, and we're scaring the crap out of them, because they can't understand us, we're not for sale.

All the focus on the weapon and the so-called political motivation has obscured the most critical factor.
22 year old Jared Loughner was our most deadly Domestic Terrorist in years. He had a defined political ideology...much of it cobbled together from radical thoughts often espoused on the Web. He broadcast his intent for more than 2 years. He talked to friends, created "artworks", and above all, posted on Twitter, Facebook and blogs enough information such that agents should have been following him around day and night.
How did this most obvious of madmen fall through the security framework??

John,
I don't see how you get from mad ramblings about a "new currency" and "conscience dreaming" to a "defined political ideology."

He hated the media, didn't own a tv..nothing in his
blogs, after searching hundreds of pages has there been anything political. Nothing. Oh the Lefties would love to hear that some rt wing influenced him. But there was nothing. Nothing.

The issue is not that the Public don't buy the Democrat lie. The issue is how to win the 2012 election and phase I is to make every effort to shut up opposition and soften the public to tolerate a one party system.. The issue is winning by knocking out all potential challengers to Obama.
One more little thing: I do not know why you seem to be so generous to Obama but I am not buying that.

Actually Congresswoman Giffords called out Sarah Palin on the cross hair issue on national TV. She said doing things like that have consequences. Was she wrong? The cross hairs went up one day after Congresswoman Giffords door was smashed in Tuscon and two days after the health care vote. Don't retreat, reload went up then also. Reload.
