Crime and Mental Illness

National Review Online and the Washington Times both feature thoughtful editorials today on the intersection of crime and mental illness, and how to humanely handle the latter. Well worth reading, even though I don’t necessarily agree with the authors.

Solution: Defang the ACLU, and reverse Riese versus St Mary's. Second, put a lot more people on long term depot antipsychotics and outpatient commitment.
