House Majority Leader turned Minority Whip Steny Hoyer is also an amateur psychologist. Sean Higgins reports on Hoyer’s diagnosis of the Tea Party:

There are a whole lot of people in the Tea Party that I see in these polls who don’t want any compromise. My presumption is they have unhappy families. All of you have been in families: single-parent, two-parents, whatever. Multiple parent and a stepfather. The fact is life is about trying to reach accommodation with one another so we can move forward. That is certainly what democracy is about. So if we are going to move forward compromise is necessary.

And perhaps they didn’t share toys as children, either.

Steny Hoyer is a functional illiterate.

"Steny Hoyer Says Tea Partiers Come from Unhappy Families".

Heh, that's what the ungodly say about us Bible believing Christians, and that we must "compromise" with them.

Just like they (the Left) says that those of us who revere the Constitution are now "fetishizing" it, (did you hear Rush's show today?) they say that Christians who revere the Bible are "worshipping" the book, and not God.

So, now we have the "living document" which shouldn't be taken seriously, or word for word, and the Bible which shouldn't be taken seriously or word for word. Just the parts they see fit.

I mean, consider what the paragon of virtue, Ms. Joy Behar said yesterday: "Do you think this Constitution-loving is getting out of hand?"

See the geniuses here, in living color:

And the Godless Left marches on.
But so do we!

The citizens of this country are being beaten and abused by the politicians high on spending and drunk on power. Comparison of a family to a national government is a stupid one, but since Mr. Hoyer brought it up, would he advise the wife of a drunk wife beater to "compromise", and accept no beatings only on Tuesdays and a limited slapping around on Thursdays?
If the national government is a family, it is a dysfunctional one and long overdue for an intervention.

We Tea Party Rebels don't allow Agendists to "DEFINE" Us.

The Tea Party Rebellion Is Now Inside & Outside Congress.

Carpe Diem.

Sounds like the only "unhappy" ones are Hoyer and the other Dims who are now in the House minority ...

Hoyer's statement reveals how out of touch he is with the average American citizen. It also sheds light on his elitist view of the "commoners."

Of course they have unhappy families - Is he blind to the destruction the Grand Undocumented Worker In Chief has imposed??

Reminds me of hearing some bimbo on AM radio ( as I left the Bay Area last nite) saying how wonderful Pelosi, the champion of the middle class, was. I had to turn off the radio before I crashed the car... I was not even the driver!

What? We've always been pretty happy.
Now that Steny's in the minority - we're really, really happy!

Steny...you know what makes me unhappy? The fact (proved heretofor with your stupid comment) that people such as yourself ever get elected. Your gross mischaracterization of people you know nothing about stings of arrogance. I suggest you shake hands with the incoming Tea Party house and senatorial members with a white jacket and a stethescope around your neck. Maybe get one of those used by B. Obama when he falsely stated that the AMA (of which only 17% of physicians USED to belong to) supported that boondoggle you call Health Care. A pox on you and our shortsightdness. And oh by the way...elections have consequences.
