That would explain
the icy conditions over there.
But this headline — Europol
Arrests More Than 100 In Carbon Trading Fraud —
also leaves me wondering.
One would think that a certain beachfront-property owner —
among his other dissonantly multiple carbon footpr…er,
palatial…sigh, ‘residences’ — didn’t need any more bad
headlines this month (what is it with December’s cruel treatment of
the warming class?). But this one must have sent more shivers down
his spine than the ongoing frigid ‘winter’ of the sort we were
assured was relegated to the history books, before we were assured
it was precisely what one should expect, even if no one did.

unglaublich, ja? Those crazy Euros. I recently read an article against the VAT and one of the drawbacks was precisely this problem. Potential for lots of fraud.
I'm sure the tree-hugging rich liberals in this country (USofA) were just beside themselves waiting for cap-n-trade to begin. What can be more fun than saving the earth and screwing their fellow man at the same time?!?!?
