So, in yet another in a long series of arguments why certain
people ought to stick to Power Point for its discipline-imposing
function, now Van-Jones-on-a-roll admits Gang Green were
just “pretend[ing]” when they keened that ‘global warming’ was
a market failure in order to get their perceived least politically
costly approach to energy scarcity — cap-and-trade — adopted.
And, with that having failed on the Hill, next year they have to go
to EPA, and “now we gonna have to pretend like it’s a
regulatory failure”. h/t
The Blaze
Oh, and he telegraphs next year’s tweak of the Left’s routine,
apparently threadbare shrillness, “rolling back 25 years of
environmental protection”, which somehow described amending the
Administrative Procedure Act, prospectively (whatever…being a
professional environmental activist means never having to worry
about the truth). And that talking point, revealed, is:
“This is important for you to know, young folks, because, if
we’re not careful, by this time next year, Congress
may eliminate the Clean Air Act. At EPA [sic]. They
said they want to do that.”
Please to show me these ‘they’? Translated, apparently
that’s what is really meant by offering to return the
Clean Air Act to its decades of apparent non-existence, by
reaffirming that its definition of “pollutant” still does not
include carbon dioxide — thereby undoing the train wreck
commissioned by Justice Stevens’ expansive interpretation in
Mass.
v. EPA that it could if EPA wanted it to,
plain reading of the Act and its legislative history
notwithstanding.
And that’s what Justice Scalia apparently also meant in
his dissent’s FN 2 excoriating
Justice Stevens’ folly: “It follows that everything airborne, from
Frisbees to flatulence, qualifies as an ‘air pollutant.’ This
reading of the statute defies common sense.”
All of which, naturally, means:
“So then we won’t be able to regulate, won’t be able to tax,
won’t be able to sell permits, we’re just gonna be cookin’ the
planet and losin’ the jobs”.
Of course we will, dear. Gotta love those high-profile ‘catch’
Obama recruits. Remember,
‘Van Jones Was No Accident’.

I just can't imagine any young person who would sit and listen to this asshat speak! Furthermore, what teacher or parent would allow it? Seriously, the guy is a convicted felon and an avowed marxist-why on earth would any adult allow such a man around young people? And furthermore, why am I always the only one who asks "what are the parents and teachers thinking? Don't these retards watch the news? The weather? "

This isn't meant to be snarky but you obviously haven't attended college in the past 20 years. Listening to clown wannabe dictators like Van Jones is required or heavily encouraged with extra credit for certain classes. Even though I studied hard engineering in college the mandatory indoctrination classes force fed garbage like Noam Chomsky, Van Jones, and reading material tainted by terrorist heroes of Obama.

Van Jones is not an accident. Cass Sunstein is not a mistake. Genachowski, Valerie Jarrett, John Holdren, Ezekiel Emanuel. They're all there on purpose. All the CZARS. The Far Left Union Chiefs. The dismissal of the Black Panther Case. It's all on purpose. The Tides Foundation. George Soros. The Apollo Group. The Weather Underground people.
Wikileaks released cables that said that "Obama sided with Manuel Zelaya, who was, CONSTITUTIONALLY, removed from office by the Honduran Supreme Court, its' Legislature, and its' Military, because he wanted to make inroads to Hugo Chavez, and to send a reassuring message to the FAR LEFT in South America". It's all in Monday's Wall Street Journal.
The DOMESTIC ENEMY is here. The REASON we have a 2nd Amendment, is here. Everyone's OATH of Office is an Oath to the CONSTITUTION. "To Protect and Defend" it, "From all enemies, both Foreign and DOMESTIC". Our Founding Fathers KNEW, that someday, EVIL would take hold of the reigns of power in this country. It's been FORETOLD. And , not just by them.
"And I saw the BEAST rise up from the Sea. And he was given a MOUTH, to speak Haughty and Blasphemous words. ("WE are the ones we've been waiting for.") And he was allowed to exercise authority for forty two months." Revelation 13-5.
Every Biblical Scholar agrees that "The Sea" is a reference to the world of POLITICS. "Allowed to exercise Authority for forty two months. Everyone knows that a President's term is 48 MONTHS. And we seem to have a President, RIGHT NOW, who is FOREIGN, in every way. Who is an Historic Anomaly. He's something that shouldn't even exist. A President of the United States who has HATED THIS COUNTRY, his entire life. The Son of a Muslim Marxist, and a Atheist Communist. Raised in Foreign Countries and taught in Muslim Schools to HATE THIS COUNTRY. To HATE ISRAEL. A man with all of his PERTINENT INFORMATION, sealed in a VAULT. Secrets that he's spent MILLION$ to keep.
You wanna talk about VAN JONES?
Why?

What you do not seem to understand is that Van Jones various and ridiculous pronouncements never make it into the mainstream press - which is still read by independents, otherwise I'd say it doesn't matter. But the MSM does matter, and since it is hopefully biased, as conservatives we should studiously AVOID it - let it make its money from its own kind. Which leads me to my pet peeve - why in the world do Republicans put themselves on shows like '60 Minutes'? Are they born stupid, or do they get that way in the course of time? What did Sarah Palin get out of being interviewed by Katie Couric? Answer: nothing but a torn reputation. Sarah Palin on Barbara Walters? Why? Bush on Oprah? Is the guy a masochist? (don't answer). The point is that the MSM will always do its level best to make conservatives look as bad as possible. Take a look at the photographs of Bush (no conservative, of course) used by the NY Times. But Republicans do not have to cooperate by allowing themselves to be interviewed by mainstream outlets. Enough already guys and gals - that publicity isn't worth it! And note to talk radio - we do not want to hear over and over again the outrageous nonsense said by this or that liberal commentator. What are you borscht belt comedians plugging each other? Why give these libs free publicity and who cares anyway! And yes I do know that Republican and conservative are not synonymous. Please pass these thoughts along to the appropriate conservatives.

Correction: "hopelessly" biased - I should do a better job proofreading!
