Cynthia Tucker of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution says Republican opponents of New START are unpatriotic, among other things. Personally, I’m leaning in favor of the treaty but this is totally unhinged. It is also a much more direct attack on political opponents’ patriotism than conservatives supposedly engage in against liberals.

Of course you like the treaty. You're a strident liberal adamantly opposed to a strong defense. You've been calling for defense cuts for quite some time, and now, the Dems are bullying Republicans to agree to one of the largest defense cuts ever: a radical reduction of America's nuclear arsenal.
Who cares if China achieves nuclear parity status with the US, right?

Don't you even pretend to do a nat-sec dance with me, Antle. You know nothing about defense issues. Yet, you preach sermons about them every week. Moreover, by preaching a liberal message, you're making a very bad name for AmSpec.
The START treaty is absolutely unacceptable, even if one accepts the (absolutely ridiculous) premise on which it is based and wishes to see bilateral/multilateral nuclear disarmament.

The left, including Cynthia Tucker, are rabid non-patriots. It's something that has needed to be said to their faces long and hard. They actually do hate the country as it is.
