Guess Obama is "Livin' on a Prayer". Or maybe it's because the TSA "Gives Love a Bad Name". But like Franky said, O "Did It My Way". At least he's not a cowboy, wanted dead or alive, ridin' a stell horse.

I wish he'd be a "little runaway"

Booger, you are clever :)

From the WaPo article: ""new 25-member White House Council for Community Solutions, a panel established to provide advice on "the best ways to mobilize citizens, nonprofits, businesses and government to work more effectively together to solve specific community needs.""

I'll be curious as to what "needs" are identified for redress, and what remedies are suggested.
Wonder if they will consider the constitutionality of their suggestions? What fun.

Nothing good will come from a 25-member panel. Can you imagine 25 people around a table trying to decide anything that's clean, elegant, simple and effective? I didn't think so.

The R&RHOF; has a criteria for being put on the ballot .... Criteria ....

I spent most of my 20's during the 80's. I recall one of my hopes as that decade ended would be the merciful end of the road for this low - talent, big - haired, teenybopper act from New Jersey.

Apparently, it was not to be. After a brief disappearance during the 90's, they returned like a Freddy Kruger sequel intent on racking up millions from another musically uninformed generation.
At Penn State football games, tens of thousands of students who probably don't know the words to the National Anthem and weren't even born until years after Bon Jovi were at their peak sing along to " Livin' on Prayer ". We could be losing by three TD's, they don't care. Another generation of Bon Jovi Zombies has arisen.

I'm not at all surprised they aren't in the Rock and Roll HOF, but I can see them fitting right in with this Administration.

I can't feel too sorry for Bon Jovi, since Alice Cooper is only now getting in!

Seriously, the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame voters HATE heavy metal with a passion, just slightly less than they hate Prog/art-rock. Bon Jovi is pretty mellow, as heavy metal goes, but he still falls into the metal category, which means Hall voters will put him off as long as possible.
