Women and Children Second

On McLaughlin Group this week, Eleanor Clift truly appeared to believe the following paid Bill Clinton some sort of tribute:

Peter Hart, the Democratic pollster, says Bill Clinton is a survivor. If he were on the Titanic, he'd be on the first lifeboat.

Sure, in a race from the podium last Friday, Obama left Clinton in the dust, but the White House briefing room is no sinking ship, folks. Perspective!

Also: Congratulations, Billy Zane! You were actually the hero of Titanic!

I would comment, but while jogging this morning I stepped in some dog Clift. Need to get some Obama paper and wipe it off my shoe.

Sorry to hear about that, Eric. Is the paper bearing Obama's face soft and absorbent enough?

Oh yes! Quilted 4-ply. . . . and gently scented, too!

Yes, Bubba would be on the first lifeboat, after knocking aside the women and trampling the children. Just call Bill the Bruce Ismay of the Democratic Steamship Line.

"The White House briefing room is no sinking ship, folks." Oh? Seems to me the briefing room is following the administration's lead. To the bottom.

An old joke about JFK, Ike, and Nixon in a lifeboat-
IKE: "women and children first!"
NIXON: "screw the women and children."
JFK: "right NOW??"
