Prince William County Chairman Corey Stewart is mulling a challenge to Sen. Jim Webb (D-VA) in 2012. Stewart was a major player in the Northern Virginia county’s crackdown on illegal immigration, an issue some hoped Webb would become a leader on when he was first elected in 2006.

In other news, Webb wasn’t among the seven Democrats who voted for Sen. Tom Coburn’s (R-OK) binding earmarks ban. Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA) was, however.

I live in VA and have had the opportuntiy to meet Corey Stewart. I would vote for him to replace Jim Webb in a heartbeat. I would probably volunteer to work for his campaign and I have NEVER done that before. He means what he says and says what he means.

Whether it's this Stewart fellow or someone else, that turncoat rat Webb will be voted out in 2012.
